There name is Florida Atlantic Univ.There the Owls and are from Boco Roton.Howard Schnellenberger is the coach.They upset Hawaii in OT.They traveled 5,000 miles,have had football for 3 yrs in Div 1AA.This is there 1st yr in D-1.And of course they play..the Mean Green of North Texas in Denton.
FAU win was no fluke.This team is talented with 10 guys back on offense and defense from lyr's 11-3 record.Howard has recruited those Florida HS seconds that Rutgers tries to sign.They are athletic and quick.Their Qb Allen threw for 28-44 for 291 yds vs hawaii and threw a TD pass with 23 seconds left to send the Hawaii game into overtime.

North Texas got hammered by Texas 65-0.Texas had 673 yds,513 rushing,and scored on 9 of 10 ist possesions.
Cobb is there whole offense and he gained -1 yd on 9 carries and didn't play in 3 qrts.Dickey runs that conservated offense of run,run,run.FAU held the Bows to 24 rushing yds and contained superstar Chang.
The line is FAU +7.5 over North Texas.I know NT played and overmatched team but if Cobb still has his cast on and can't play FAU wins this straight up.Howard will figure out in 5 minuts how to stop the run.And NT cannot pass the ball.I'll keep everyone updated and if anyone else has info feel free to share.
