Boys i am jumping on these 3 games early. I suspect the lines will move against me on all 3 sides before next weekend.
Turd Pies:
Miss St +13...Well Croom opens up SEC play against my auburn tigers. The dawgs were impressive against a terrible Tulane team and auburn was unimpressive against a terrible La monroe team. You say auburn won 31-0, i say we won 73-7 last year with a better all around team. As long as Jason Campbell is auburn's QB they will under-perform. He is too late on all his reads and just not "football smart." If our back up, Brandon Cox, plays more than two series this could be a different story. Tubberville doesnt have the nuts to bench a fifth yr senior, but Cox is our future and it needs to start now! Tubberville hated Jackie Sherill worse than anyone competitor, maybe even bama. Well, he is gone and Coach Croom will have his boys ready this weekend. Auburn players and coaches could very well be overlooking this game, looking ahead to next weeks game at home against LSU. MSU has nothing to lose and auburn has plenty. I feel this line should be auburn -4 to 6, but not 13! State's D is solid and auburn running game looked pretty bad if i do say so myself against La Monroe of all people. If we are forced to pass the ball with Campbell we may even lose this game. I'll take the home dog catching 13!
Bama -10...After coach shula and the tide beat ole miss, bama fans will be calling shula the next bear. :142lmao: Ole miss is right back where they were before the Eli era. They have ZERO running game and a questionable QB going into a hostile tuscalooser. If bama has anything it is a solid QB and a good defense, to go along with an average rushing attack. Ole Miss will struggle in this game IMO. The things ole miss has is good WRs and a decent defense. Bama's defense has to be better than Memphis can field this yr which is trouble for the rebs. Turnovers will be the key to this one and i am nowhere near sold on Spurlock leading this team back to a bowl game. I will lay the 10!
GT +9...I think this one will be a shootout. Clemson has a terrible defense and probably should have lost to wake this past weekend. GT's Ball is a good QB and the Tech D is better than Wake's. Nevertheless i see a lot of points and may take the over as well when i see what total gets posted.
