Usually take it very light the first week of pro's as I need one week's of stats to really get going with the way I cap. Will probably have a few small plays along with a nice teaser. For now, I really like Thursday's matchup:

1* Colts +3.5 -105

*Bought the hook for my own reasons, but really feel the Super Bowl champions go down here at home. Very nice spot I think for the Colts as they get a crack at the team who knocked them out last year right off the bat to start this season. No waiting around. This is basically a toss up game as the line indicates. I think Manning came around a lot last year playing and winning some big games as he's been known to choke in games like these. This will be a very tough hard faught game with the Colts prevailing on the road and shocking everyone in the first game of the season. If I'm Dungy I am preaching "no turnovers, no turnovers" as that's what marked their doom in the final game last year.*

GL! As stated above this is a very small play, but nonetheless a "gutsy" play.

Adding a play for Sunday:

1* Browns +3.5 -120

*Bought the hook here. I know this seems very risky, but I'm riding that this is FINALLY the year that the Browns get a win in their opener under Davis. In his three years at the helm the openers for this team have been tight, close, and JUST missing a victory. I believe this is the year! I'm not sold on the Ravens just yet...Jamaal is an absolute stud, but I am not sold on Boller and Jamaal is all they have on offense. All of the hype with Deion just makes the Ravens a more Joe Public pick in this game. Should be a close, tight game again with the Browns finally getting an opening day victory at home. Upset special this is!*

GL! Will possibly add more later.....

Adding some more for Sunday:

1* Bears -2.5 -120

*Bought the 1/2 here. Lovie Smith will put some fire into that Bear "D" this year which will be much improved. Lions are 0-24 SU L/24 on the road!! Bears win a close one and get Lovie an opening day win.*

1* Lions/Bears UNDER 39.5

1* Vikings -4.5

*Too much purple flying around the field for big "D" in this game. Vikes at home here should get the money.*

Sorry the Bears shit on your run. But you would have dumped the Under. So Grossman threw the pick at the end for you :)
