FSU+2
As much as I hate to play against a team that ranks right behind WVU in my being a fan i have no choice then to go with FSU over Miami, I fell FSU has to many players back and give them a big edge in the qb spot who should lead them to a road win in MIami, was really not a Berlin backer when he was in a off. that worked for him at fl, it was a great fit but in Miami he is just not the type of passer who can make the right reads and tends to throw off his back foot leaving the ball floating high, he is a shot gun passer and if you watched him last year you would of seen that most of his better reads and passes came from the gun, just like at fl. but im miami he won't be in the gun 90% of the time like he was at fl and it showed last year, he has happy feet and when not in gun he will not set back in pocket and let the play develop. The FSU deff will pressure him all game and once in his head he has a hard time pulling it back together.

Akron-6.5 The zips have a much better off then they showed against penn.st they lost the penn.st game in the first 20 mins of the game with to's and mistakes not that they would of won, but should of been a better game played by the zips, mtsu does not have a deff like penn. st really not much of a deff.at all but zips lack there also might want to look over in this games also;););) for the over.

WVU-20 I said last year that KJ Harris was a better back then coulbourne or Q/Wilson , he was bigger then both way bigger just as strong as Wilson and had better speed then both and he would break WVU's single season rushing record when it came his time to be the # one back and he took a big step in the right way last week, he can fly, wvu can beat you in so many way and the passing numbers that ecu put up came against the 2nd and 3rd string deff against wvu in the 2nd half well after game was over at the end of the first half. UCF will have their hands full on their home field on sat, WVU has done very well covering last 8 games on the road for the last 2 seasons. Look for WVU to score early and often, the run game for ecu was just shut down from the start against the attacking WVU deff. say what you want and talk about big east is week this WVU team is one of the best all times at touchdown city, even when va.tech and miami was in the big east since rich took over after his first year where he had to do a 100% turn around on both sides of the ball and it took 1 year to learn after that last 2 years wvu has lost 1 big east game in both years, those both were to miami and if not for a lucky but great catch by winslow wvu would of been champs not co-champs of the big east last year and Rich is one of the top young coaches in college fb. WVu will play on new years day and a slip by usc, georgia,or sooners you will see them playing for the crystle football on jan 3rd.

Should have a few more before kick-off on sat.

Good Luck

Top three games I like a ton, haven't done write-ups on WVU or Akron but have completed a FSU write-up. Glad to see you riding these. Great week, last weekend! Hope it continues.

I'm doing a lot of looking at Colorado over Washington - what do you think? Purify will run all over this Washington team. Plus Washington had a tough time with NM until the blocked punt. They struggled moving the ball. Bad news for the Buffalo's is Klatt is just not good. Against CSU they looked unstoppable for the first half then just fell apart. Terrible coaching by the rams lost that game not grounding the ball on 3rd and goal with .5 sec left. Have you looked at this game at all?

I think buffs will be able to run on wash, just did not like the way the jumped out early on csu and let them back in the game, but I think they should win this game from 7-10 points , wash is just not a very good team but then again buffs are not like a super power i am not going to touch the game just don't really like either team enough to risk a play, week 4 should have a good read on all teams, lot of teams week 4 will be their 3rd game and will be able to see what corrections they made in 2nd game to see where they stand with me.

Good luck to you

S.Carolina+8 think lou and his guys try and make this a short game with ball control i also think line comes down some so went ahead and played it, i love georgia think they win the sec but going to take the gamecocks and the points and hope dawgs don't go wild on old lou a few quick scores could put gamecocks into panic mode which then game plan would go out the window as wll as this bet, when dawgs are clicking they are going to be a very hard team to beat even though the sec is the top conf year in fb from top to bottom year in and year out IMO only last hell 10 years or little less they always beat up on each other then have taht stupid championship game which i wish they did not just another chance for 2 top teams to beat each other up but think this is the year of the dawg that has his dog house in athens. my national champion ship team i picked anyway. i am sure usc and a few others will have something to say about that as much as i hate usc always has even as a kid and always will from a fan stand point but when it comes to handicapping i don't let that sway me I have won with them more then not, but usc is going to be tough think cal has a chance i really like the cal team, but that is the only team in pac 10 who has a chance IMO to beat usc ducks might give them a fight if it is a shoot out after that a cake walk through for a down conf. for usc 2 teams is all that should give them a test.

gamecocks should cover but georgia wins the game and national championship:Dl

CAL-33.5 they will be able to name the score in this game nmst will not know what hit them by the end of the first half and don't think Cal will pull back any they are out to make a name for themself, they could of pulled back at air. force who has a respected coach and program and they were at af but they threw the ball in the 2nd half when game was far out of reach, so if they ran it up on the road they damn sure will do it for the home opener infront of their own fans, they are looking to open eyes up of the voters early and letting the pac 10 know they are here to win and win big this year, and they have the weapons to do it. Both on the ground and in the air.

NM.ST is not AF not that AF is a power house they still can be a hard team to play but the bears ran away with this game in the 2nd half and just kept on kicking them after they were down and out for the count. Back to back road games for NM.ST and against 2 physical and good teams. The bears team speed will leave NM.ST grabbing at air and by the time the 3rd qt comes around nmst will be dead tired on deff.

Cal should score early and often they should have no problem putting up 50+ points again this week and to them points me respect when you are trying to make a statement no matter who they are playing, it was not to long ago when teams were running up the score on CAL and teams remember that. This is just one big mismatch on sat.

Laying points with the Zips defense is not a position that I envy, but good luck with the play. I saw the Penn St game and it was mighty ugly and will also be at saturdays game as well.

It will take a bit of time forJD to turn this team around, especially on the defensive side of the ball.

not a big play on the zips but i am going to go with a good size play on the over when it comes out because both teams will score and neither will stop, + have the tip on it, could be last team with the ball wins, good luck and have fun at the game. thinking about taking Toledo+ 3 still have some things to factor in on that game so really don't know yet

Fletcher, what are your thoughts on the Duke/UConn game?

Looks like a easy win for UConn. . .but maybe too easy. Read an interview with UConn QB and he was given the Dookies some credit. I know Dukes Coach and UConns Coach coached together at GT some years back. Also, Dukes new Qb Coach, Tom Knotts, was Chris Leak's coach at Independence in Charlotte. I probably will not play the game, just looking for your thoughts.
