After getting smoked by Utah, they step way down in class giving 11 to Wyoming...Looking at their schedule, it is BRUTAL...this is home openner; they do not have many winnable games on deck. Have to believe Coach F will have them fired up for this one...if they get up, have to believe coach will run it up for home crowd...GLTA

Played on the Aggies vs. Utah, watched the whole game. If Wyoming has any sort of passing offense that is a spread formation they might upset Texas A&M. The Aggies are young and had hard time making adjustments on the field. Perhaps a film session after Utah will straighten out the A&M Defense?? Home field is a welcome site to this team and they do play better at home. Will the 13th man be enough for this Aggie team, which has lost (gotten crushed) 4 games in a row now. This young team might not buy into Coach's system, a lot of kids with their heads down.

One the other hand the Cowboys hung 53 on their opp last week. Granted Appalachian State is not a powerhouse by any stretch of the imagination. Corey Bramlet (younger brother of current Bengals' backup Casey Bramlet) and RB Joe Harris (junior college All-American), might be enough to put up points against the Aggie defense.

I am leaning toward the Cowboys +11 a lot of chalk (IMO) against an Aggie team that looked ineffective on offense and clueless on defense. At some point in time, you have to think something will click for this A&M squad, because they do have talent! Hope this info helps.

I read in the Austin paper that McNeal is having surgery on his hand and may not be able to start the game.

That means that Stephen McGee, a highly recruited true freshman, may start the game for the Aggies. The coaching staff really doesn't want to start him though if they need to, because they want to have the option of redshirting him later in the year, so that leaves the third string QB starting. That leads to trouble for the Aggies, but I don't like the other side of this game either.

I'm staying away from either side of this game this week!!!!!!

The ags have no business laying double digits to any team, even if it is at home. The Kyle Field home field advantage is gone. Take Wyoming + the points. atm is a bad team.

Aggies after all are aggies. Look at their records in mens sports over the last 5 years. How can a school that strongly emphasizes sports be so pathetic? This is a major university with over 40,000 inmates. If GPA is a measure of academic achievement, some new measure of sporting success should be available for prospective students. Hmm.... maybe the BLOW index might suffice. (Big Losers Outnumber Winners) Longhorn fans all know that OU sux. We all now know that TAMU BLOWS! Wyoming wins outright.

Thanks for that great input DomyDerm, very useful.

Mcneal is starting and will be fine. He was given no time to throw last game against Utah and that resulted in him not having good numbers. Wyoming is nowhere as good as Utah but there is no way I would lay double digits with this A&M team. I am a recent graduate of A&M and pay very close attention to the football program. This team just isn't very good. I would be careful betting on the aggies in any game until they show something. I would stay away from this game.
