Army +22.5 over Louisville
Army finally gets a coach in Bobby Ross.This team will be so much better this yr.Nevels the Qb is healthy until the 3rd offensive play.Army stats are terrible.They haven't won at home since 2001.Army has lost 15 in a row,24 of last 25.I could go on and on.
Ross will change things big time.But not today.Louisville is loaded.There offense gets all the press but their defense will shut Army down.In last 4 games vs Army Cards have avg over 42 pts.
Stopping the UL offense will be hard today.Lefors and co gained 6,355 yds on offense.Gates,Shelton and Bush are 3 backs the cadets will have to contain.Russel a WR is tough.Army D is tougher and better coached then lyr.
Lyr Cards had over 600 yds on offense but only won 34-10.
Think the same thing will happen today.Cards dominate but the score will remain somewhat close.Don't think Cards blow out at the cadets esp on this day in history.I put one box * on the Nites of the Hudson.Maybe they get a backdoor cover and just slip in under the number.

Already wrote about this game.FAU coming off big upset win at hawaii and NT still suffering "whiplash" injuries from 65-0 trouncing by Texas.
Cobbs who led the nation in rushing lyr gained -1 yds on 9 carries vs UT.Dickey is a conservative coach who run,run runs up the middle.Then he uses Hall their Qb in play action,etc.But w/o Cobbs defenses can stop them.Cobbs had surgery back in August on his rt thumb.The cast is still on and he is not 100%.Their offense is so predictable.
NT defense lost its top linebackers and Kennedy the Conf PO Yr on defense.Also backup Qb Smith who was mobile was killed in a car crash.He could spell Hall when the pocket collapsed.
In come FAU tonite.The most experinced team in D-1 despite there 1st yr.This florida team is talented and beating hawaii was no fluke.They are loaded with talent everywhere.In 2001 when they started football all these kids were red shirt freshman.Throw in the incoming freshman class and 30 of these kids have played over 30 games the past 3 yrs.have to post this ,be back ...
