Tough break on Nebraska Reb, So. Miss played a helluva game. Hope you get some of it back on Alabama tonight. gl :help:

This weekend was even worse than last. Finished up 4-8 and -39.9*.
YTD: 13-20 -65*
For various reasons, I am changing the way I do things. While it's fun having a thread that runs from midweek, with early plays and having a nice little chat going, it's not working out right now. I still might post some plays early, to take advantage of a line or two, but for the most part I will be posting my plays closer to game time. Most big plays, especially, will be posted on the day of the game.
For those who follow me, don't give up. I've been down before, and I always do whatever is necessary to come ahead in the long run. The season is obviously very young, and I missed on my big plays the first two weeks. Those of you who've watched me over the years know I will come back.
For some reason, there's always a poster or two who enjoys seeing me lose. Since they can't get away with bashing on this site, they find ways of being subtly sarcastic. Some people can't win themselves, so they seek joy in seeing others lose. Have your fun now. I only have one piece of advice for you -- fade me.
Starting next week we'll see what we can do to work our way back into the black. I consider this deficit a challenge, and I'm looking forward to meeting it.

Reb...i remember you hit a little cold streak at the beginning of last year also but came back to have a very successful year...no one here should doubt youl...i have a feeling there will be no more "black saturdays" for you...
Lighten up Francis!!! The guy may be riding you or maybe not. You set yourself up for this with your bragging about your exceptional capping skills and your unblemished track record. What did you expect when you flopped like you did the first two weeks. If I remember correctly, which I do, you quit posting before the end of the football season last year because you WERE NOT FOLLOWING YOUR PROVEN HANDICAPPING TECHNIQUES and you were down. You came back in the bowl games and started out alright then lost and quit posting by the championship game. DO NOT THROW STONES IF YOU LIVE IN A GLASS HOUSE!!! Nobody on this board cares whether you win or lose or waht your record is. This board is for fun. Do not get mad and lash out at other posters for what you asked for. Post your plays and win them or lose them. If you lose everyone of them, you are still welcome on this board and I will fight anyone who tries to stop you from it. However, LIGHTEN UP AND STEP BACK FROM FANTASYLAND AND INTO REALITY with the rest of us who do not know squat and just try to get by at a hobby that you basically cannot win at!!!!
