i like to look back at some of last year`s results when playing games....and i noticed something....

then i saw what i was thinking on another site from respected handicapper...

az st-2 vs iowa....they were embarrassed last year in iowa by the hawkeyes.....pretty much set the tone for a season of underachievement....

i`ve said on here that az st has no heart....but,i`ve always liked coach koetter...i had trouble believing that he wouldn`t turn that program around...

i
iowa`s returning 2 starters on offense this year... although the defense is always solid...

iowa,to me,under ferentz,is a winning program with character....just the opposite of az st...

still, iowa hasn`t looked good thus far...inexperience on offense is obvious....again,the defense will carry them...

i`ll do something stupid and lay the small number with the experienced, albeit inconsistent club...with the better offense.... revenge....and homecourt advantage....it`s a night game...

maybe az st is turning the corner....thay do have talent....

or...they may again screw me like they did last year vs a bad north carolina team...

wouldn`t surprise me to see iowa`s defense once again dominate...

something tells me "don`t bet against a solid defense"...but i`m hardheaded...

what the hey....that`s why they call it gambling...

if they can`t beat a fairly young iowa team on their own field, then let them forever be branded as heartless underachievers....at least by me.......lol

i wouldn`t go crazy here....

btw....the pro card this week sets up much better than does the college....imo..

This ASU team is all heart.. it is a complete 180 from last years team... I think the new DB coach Mark Carrier has everything to do with the changes onm the defense... 65,000 tickets have been sold for this game,, the highest in years for a game,

I am not saying ASU is going to win this game, becuase I dont trust Coach Koetter, but I do know they havent played their best football in these 2 games this year and are 2-0. This is a game that is going to define Koetters legacy at ASU... good or bad

somehow double posted after I tried to correct...

so Ill add my 2 cents and take WV buying 1/2 pt; I know Sir ralph roast beef is great coach but MTN Men are for real I think ... Im off college teasers from now on, only in NFL, doesnt make sense in topsy turvy CFB anyhow

good pts by both of U ... i lost big on asu ly too ... another pac 10 game of note is the ucla/uw game .. uw's qbs looked like garbage in opener to fresno, and handed them 21 pts or mightve won; they have 2 weeks to prepare and damn well needed it ... fsu beating kst on rd makes UW loss seem a lil more reasonable ... ucla has owned the uw in husky stadium thru the years, even when UW was best in pac-10 ... tuff games to call ...

sir ralph roast beef???????....lmao....ralph is so big,he has his own solar system....rimshot....

love that monicker pt1....good stuff....

this is a young maryland team....and i`m not sure they`re ready for a serious test yet.....

if w.va is ever gonna get the terps, this is the year....

i understand that w.va. `s star back is doubtful....

the football gods definitely prefer sir "ralph roast beef" friedgen to "chimichonga" rodriguez.....up to now.....

i may take a whack at the `neers......maryland has some injuries,also...

here is another game that has a revenge motive to it.......

i really like nc st. vs. ohio st.

if you remember last year nc st. took ohio st. into 3ot at ohio st stadium.

ncst. is returning starters on defense back from last years team. they have a top notch offensive line & they have an excellent runner to surround the new qb.

i grabbed 4 (127) when the line first came out.i'm too chicken to bet money line plays, but i think ncst. will win the game.

GW glad U liked that one, just popped into my mind like provolone slithers into sir ralph's mouth... AR182 i watched that game to bitter end last year, felt badly for nc st b/c that was brutal loss; i might take nc st too, lline looks almost fishy to attract Buckeye $$

well,az st apparently has plenty of heart....i couldn`t be happier....

hit with a rice/navy parlay posted in ari82`s thread....split with arizona+11 and a moneyline on arizona...should have had that moneyline and swept `em...

hit with hopkins, who i thought has looked sharper. and the under in the jantuah/rubio fight...

and a thank you to g-man for his second half play on miami,oh -9...

all in all a very nice saturday...

like the nfl card tomorrow...this is where i give it all back...lol

g l all tomorrow...
