I have never had any trouble with my modified xbox until yesterday. Now I get a solid orange light on my eject button, my modchip shows a solid red light, and the tray will not eject. I don't know what in the hell happened to it. The only thing I have found on the internet about the orange light is that the xbox is overheating. However, it has been left alone for hours, unplugged, and then retried with the same results. Any help or direction would be most appreciated.

Munson--On a different note, is your screen name for Larry Munson (voice of the Dawgs?). If so, I see you live in Nashville. Is there a bar that is the Bulldogs headquarters in town. I know in Atlanta, just about any major team that you follow had its bar that everyone watched the games together. Just wondering.

Insider,

Thanks for your help. I finally found someone on the net who had the exact same problem. I just had to open it up and use the recovery switch on the modchip. I guess I should have read up on my new modchip. Stuck tray huh? You can try to use the manual eject. There is a tiny holy underneath the tray on the right corner next to the eject button. Supposedly, you can push a paper clip in there, find some resistance, and push until it opens. Just be sure not to have it powered up when you do it. Otherwise, grab and allen wrench and open up the unit.

Dawg,

My name is after Woody Harrelson's character "Roy Munson" in the movie "Kingpin". Sorry but I can't help you with a Bulldogs bar in Nashville but I'll ask around.

usually if you re-flash your modchip - it`ll fix the majority of the problems you might encounter with a moded xbox
