On the course!
Looks like, again this year, there are a few games out there that, "can't miss", based on last weeks results.

I don't want to buy in to it.

How many of us sit in numbed, silent, disbelief after week two's results every year? "But they looked so good/bad last week!"

How many of you have heard some dork (or maybe even been him!) talk about, "So-and-so is on pace to rush for 2000 yards!", after just one week of play? Or, "That defense is horrible this year!"

A couple of guys up here were yacking about how Baltimore's season is done! WHAT? After one bad week? Up here in the Tundra, everyone is getting in line to buy Super Bowl tickets after Green Bay's dominating performance last week over the defending champs. They seem to forget that the Packers have a wonderful knack for winning a game they should have lost (on paper), and then falling flat on their faces the next week!

I'm not in a hurry to lose my cash.........Stay tuned.

broncos ruined a great day for me. turned a nice profit, but the broncos kept today from being great. and the way they did it really hurt. i had them on the moneyline so i would have been happy with a fg, but no - a quentin g fumble. :cursin:

f%#@ Dever for not getting a TD

f%#@ Skins for not covering against a weak Gaints squad who dislike the head coach

f%#@ Jets who gave up 14 pts in 4th qt as I had Jets -1 for 2nd half. Had only given up 14 pts thru 3 qt's

f%#@ Clowns for the TD not counting after giving up the safety

f%#@ Bills for scoring as many points today as they did against a much better D in the Jags last week as I took the over.

f%#@ me for passing on Sea and Indy and Atl who were last minute scratches on my ticket

and f%#@ me for taking the fish on the ML and the over as my card originally had the complete opposite.

Just another week in the NFL....no frickin logic

Yep. ...and thank you Jets for giving up 2 big 4th downs to Flutie, allowing a 2nd half cover with 30 seconds left. :cursin:

The give away to stay away from the Pack was the 8.5 to 9 line. Noway. We all here in Pack land know it happens. The one that surprised me some was K City laying there egg.

are u nuts ice picks? buffalos defense is not good? i think they will be in the top 2 this year in the nfl, this defense to me is great, nothing wrong w/what they are doing, i think mularkeys game plan is great, the problem is they must learn how to win 1st, this is not a rookie team. i honestly think they will be ok this year, but must beat new england coming up.but as far as there defense, there not the problem..its just knowing how to win, period
