Miami -1

This game has all the makings of one hell of an ugly defensive match up. A rookie QB in his first start, unsure of which day the game is even going to be played going up against a proud veteran Def. that is 0-2.

On the other side you have an Off. line that is in shambles, a pathetic running game and an inexperienced QB going against a fairly stout and aggressive Def.

I see this game being filled with turnovers, 3 and outs, defensive scoring and lots of special teams. With that in mind, I believe Feeley does just enough, Roethlisberger struggles allowing Miami to beef up against the run and the Dolphins win ugly.

Denver -10

Denver played one of the toughest Def. in Jax last week. They didn't do much on the scoreboard but did move the ball well. The Bronco Def. was strong against the Jags all day.

SD, although only losing by were never really in the game with the Jets last week. They fell far behind early and the Jets cruised to the finish.

I see this as a very tough spot for the Chargers. Denver coming off the lose will be focused and play with some intensity. The Chargers really should be o-2 at this point and only have Tomlinson as a bright spot. Denver gave up 151 yards to Holmes in week one but bounced back allowing only 54 to Taylor last week.

Look for the Broncos to take it to the Chargers and put enough distance between them and SD to avoid a back door cover.

Cleveland +3.5

Cleveland has been ravaged by injuries on both sides of the ball. They looked horrible last week against the Cowboys. All this and I still like them as the dog verses the Giants.

The Giants had no business being in the game last week with the Redskins let alone winning it. They were quite bad against the Eagles in week 1 and now the team is falling apart at the seams because of friction with the HC. How can NY play with the reckless abandon needed to be successful in the NFL when they HATE their coach. Players have brought complaints to the league about Coughlin this week and I'm guessing it will only get worse.

The Browns are far from a solid team, but compared to the Giants they look like champs. If the Giants get behind early, look for the team to self destruct allowing the Browns to take advantage. I think Garcia will perform much better against the Giants and I look for the Browns to win this one straight up.

Teaser

Cincy +8.5
St. Louis -.5

With Cincy we get a decent team at home, playing against a strong Def., but an Off. that is struggling and without a couple of important weapons. Cincy has poor run Def. and could get exposed by a decent Raven run game, but the because Baltimore can't move the ball throught the air, Cincy should be able to beef up for the run.

This game is bound to be a FG game between 2 decent division rivals.

St. Louis was disappointing against the Falcons last week, but they were able to move the ball through the air. Faulk was not a factor last week, this week he will slice up the Saint's porous run Def. The Ram's weakness has been stopping the run, it's unlikely Ki-Jana Carter will be able to take advantage of that though.

This game could be a blowout for the Rams, but to be safe I take them just to win.
