just taking my fave coach in pac-10 and maybe anywhere--teams seem to be ready every week and have potent Offense under his keen mind ... had week to prepare vs the up down under rated over rated Beavs are tuff to figure ... Beavs are back home but will run into legit run/throw squad from berekley .. sticking to my area and like Bears to win by 7+ ... just wanted to take it in case it went to 4 etc

This game has issues:

First off, Cal has had since 9/11 off. It's going to take some time to get in-sync. I love Tedford, and it's more time for him to prepare...but it's basically like the start of another season.

Second, it is VERY hard to win in Corvallis. They lost only 3 games there in the past 3 years. When I saw that I was shocked too.

Third, Cal is very similar to ASU offensively. OSU got a taste of Cal on Saturday, and Cal hasn't played football in 21 days.

Just my input.

Cal wont be looking ahead (good coaches dont let that crap happen IMO) and Ive been to Reser, it's a hole in ground but great atmosphere -- they have had some great teams but I dont see this as one

thanx for the comments, dont mean to sound like this is any incredible deal or anything, I just believe in this guy and his teams and hes done my tickets well in the past

cal wont be looking ahead, they want a piece of the beavers after last year. but osu is too good at home and this is a major major test for cal. i havent fully looked at this one yet, but i love osu here

pt1gard - I like it

Cal will not be looking ahead in fact those players should be salivating waiting for this game. It has been 2 weeks since they have gone full speed and they will just want to get out there again. Add the fact that Rodgers is a tremendously accurate passer ( His efficiency rating of 192.2) and Arrington has provided a rushing game and the Beavers are in trouble. The bears have a very good coach and you cannot give a good coach 2 weeks to prepare for a team. IMO Oregon state makes too many mistakes and Cals offense will take advantage.

thanx anil and irish, hope yu guys hopped aboard ... when the line creeped to 7 i was a bit annoyed b/c +3s have spelled D-O-O-M ...

Tedford is just a sensational offensive mind and awesome coach ... The Beavs are now 9-9 under Riley, they are not even remotely DNA'd to Erickson's teams ...

Cal was +13 vs USC as of last friday ... figure it to dip to 9 or so

as I said, only bad coaches allow their teams to look ahead
