anybody ever hear of "bullseye network"?...i think it`s some sort of spyware

my computer has been a mess for over a week...pop-ups that don`t respond to my cursor....messages about my system being "dangerously low" on memory....system refusing to restart....

i`m constantly pulling the plug on this thing because it locks up.....couldn`t even log in part of the time...

i found this "bullseye network" crap in my programs...and it resisted being uninstalled....

i downloaded spybot and that helped some....

i `m not a downloader..the computer is just for fun and gambling.....

i have no idea how it got into my programs....

any help would be appreciated...

thanks in advance...

i tried to "uninstall" this sucker....and it locks up...

this is the first time i ever tried to uninstall anything...i brought what was left of my failed attempt at un-installation down to my toolbar...and then ran the spybot doo-dad program......

and i think it might have taken it out of my programs...

i`m computer illiterate bur i went to the "start" button....then "settings"...then "control panel"....then "add/remove" programs....

i stumbled into it...i don`t know what i`m doing....

but,my computer is acting much better....

i hate using those "Over the web" solutions..always afraid they`ll compound my problem....

and if you use the free trial and don`t buy their product, will they have access to my computer?

.maybe i`ll go to a computer store and get something...

what scares me is that this stuff is in my programs....

can uninstalling aol and reinstalling it rid me of this s-it?....

spybot helps...but doesn`t solve the problem....

thanks...

here are some ways to fix your problem--

go find and download--

Adaware SE 6.0

HijackThis

Spybot Search and Destroy

After downloading them, install them and run each one of them seperately, and then your problem will be solved, it sounds as if your computer is loaded with spyware.........gl

Weasel- You can use pest patrol and CA (computer associates) with confidence. I even have a free firewall from them that was recommended by microsoft.

What I don't get is, if I write a virus and distribute it over the internet I'll have the FBI knocking on my door to give me a free vacation at Club Fed. But these spyware scumbags can infect everyone's computer with their crap and it's perfectly legal. Spyware is an invasion of privacy and it screws up your computer; it's no different than if someone broke into my house, rifled through my personal papers, and took a dump on my living room floor. They should pass a law against these companies being allowed to cram their sh-tware on my hard drive.

cisco...again,thanks....junk....i couldn`t agree more....

it`s ridiculous that these a-holes can get away with ruining people`s computers...

sometimes i wonder if the companies that produce and sell solutions to these problems aren`t the ones that, behind the scenes, perpetrate this crap...

i mean, what sane person... that has their internet service ruined by these jerks, would patronize their ads?......i can`t believe anyone would...

disgusting
