Last week the plays went 5-3.

Remember plays are where the Harmon predicted score is more than +or-10 off the posted line. Lines are as of this morning.

This weeks plays (score/line differential):

Boise-37 (11)
Colorado State-3.5 (10.5)
Tulsa+11 (10)
LSU+3 (11)
Mississipppi-17.5 (13.5)
New Mexico+10 (12)
Pitt+7 (13)
Southern Miss-4 (14)
Ball State+15 (13)
Mississippi St+12.5 (11.5)

He has three dogs winning outright this week: LSU, Pitt and New Mexico. I do not think his stats have cought up with either Mississippi team yet, as they both look bad.

Again, these plays are just for fun. However, I am going to play the three dog winners this week and see how it goes, and will likely play Boise.

Good Luck!

Hope you keep posting. I like the stats angle for college football and definitely take it into consideration when I study the games.

I am going to try to do it every week. I did not want to start until we had a couple weeks of stats on every team.

I find it interesting and maybe we can find a trend worth playing later on as lines get tighter.

Yeah, I saw that.

Just can't back GA right now until they prove they can play against good competition. They have not looked good at all this year. Same thing with Uconn. They have not impressed me either. They were lucky to beat Duke, who I got a chance to see last weekend, and they were man-handled by BC. Plus the whole world is on them right now. Too many people judging Pitt by the Furman game.

Think I will have to go it alone as the contrarian this week. I also think I am the only one that likes VA Tech. In my opinion, West VA is barely a top 20 team let alone getting ready to crack the top 5. They are not very good and will prove it this week.

Good Luck!

Mejia Addition

Mejia Addition

Someone pointed out that Tony Mejia does the same thing as Harmon, so I ran his numbers also.

He came up with:

Miami-14 (10)
Vandy-12.5 (12.5)
N Tx-3 (11)
Stanford-12.5 (14.5)
EMU-7 (23)
CMU+3 (17)
TCU-19 (15)
Force+1 (11)
Pitt+7 (11)

The only game that overlaps is the Pittsburgh game. Mejia also has LSU winning outright. Large discrepancy on the Vandy game.

Personally, I think these look more solid. I will try to do this for both of them now every week.

I am sticking to the Pitt play, way too many on UCONN. I also like AirForce (Navy has not played anyone yet) and Vandy (MS State is pathetic).

Good Luck!
