There are 10 home puppies this week if my calculations are correct.

Does anyone know the record for home dogs so far this year?

Last year, road favs covered early in the season, but I think I remember that is started to even out later on in the season.

There are several that look inviting this week,
Bears +9 vs Philly
Clev. +3 vs Skins
Hou +3 vs Oakland
Jax +4 vs Indy
Zona +3 vs NO
Miami + vs Jets
Bucs +3 vs Denver
SD +3 vs Tenny
SF +3- vs Stlouis

I really like the Bears, Browns, Texans, Cards, and Niners

Any thoughts

By my count the home pooches are 4-7 this year so far. Never seen so many in 1 week.

You guys are correct in last year road favorites. I still like the division home dogs, the conf dogs, and the two non-conf dogs. Someone please help me.

Home dogs are 4-8. 2-2, 2-4, 0-2, Week 1 to Week 3.

Check out my other post in this forum "A few stats heading into Week 4" on this topic ( http://www.madjacksports.com/forum/showthread.php?t=160919 ). You are right, road favs started off hot last year (21-6 first 7 weeks) ... yet they STILL ended the season below .500 .

GM, I had Tenn as a 1 pt favorite in Wk 2 vs Indy...did you have them as a home dog?

I had Indy -2. I go by closing lines...grab them < 10 mins before kickoff @ CRIS, if possible. Tried keeping track by opening lines in the past, but found it too inconsistent.
