not going to try and analyze this game and worry about numbers. bottom line is this: kerry wood, you are the cubs ace. prove it today. because leaving with a 2-2 tie is not going to be good enough. dont put the season in the hands of your bullpen. go and and dominate for 8 innings and throw 120 pitches if need be. prove your worth as a premier pitcher when your team needs you most.

bottom line: kerry wood - in your biggest start of the season, you have given up homers to the #8 hitter and the pitcher today. enjoy the golf course this month. im actually getting a kick out of watching these losers choke

I hope it turns aroound for you this game and my Cubbies but this team is in total dissary. Baker is getting questioned by the media something I heard didn't happen much in San Fran. Sammy at 18 mill a year has been terrible and booed. The bullpen complete meltdown. Steve Stone openly getting on Baker's ass which I think some of the moves he has made he needs it. I could go on and on for this season. Whatever reason this team couldn't handle the pressure and with their biggest payroll ever things will change, but how much I don't know when you have over 3 mill in attend.

I hope it does turn for you because I watch for your posts but I was ready 2 games ago to change my avatar to 2005 Champs and add the wait till next year again slogan. As a die hard fan I don't how much more I can stomach.

i hope it turns around not for me, but for YOU. for loyal diehards like yourself. my small bet on this game is inconsequential. but i dont know how you guys put up with this shit year in and year out. i know sosa is overpaid at this point in his career and there have been some questionable moves made lately, but this one is solely on kerry wood. to give up homers to wise and hampton is a joke given whats at stake.
