Boise St -38 over SMU top play ********
Do not like to give 38 pts away as a top play but have to.Smoo is coming off a 15 game losing streak beating San Jose St.Boise has the longest winning streak in football and just got by BYU winning 28-27.Home streaks,winning,etc,etc
Boise is ranked 6th in passing offense and 3rd in the nation in total Off.I could go on and on.Smoo is ranked 108th in pass defense and 105 in total D.
Lyr at they lost to the Broncos 45-3.Boise had 3 wr's get over 100yds each.Smoo defense will not be able to stop this offense.Smoo offense has big time qb problems.Cannot see them moving the ball. This is a classic 55-0 score or maybe 61-7.
And Smoo left the WAC joining Conf USA next yr.What better way to send off a fellow member then with a whipping..
TCU -18 over Army **
Big time qb problems at the Point.Silva.I think will start.To many under thrown balls,over thrown,WR drops,with guys wide open.Pass protection is a problem.Silva is a mop up qb.Nevels has been horrendous,Dahman who started 15 games is even worse.Army ]s completion rate is 44%,107th in the nation.In Silva's last start vs So Miss he threw an Army record 6 ints. He has 3 career tds and 13 ints.Army has big time injuries on the DL.They have the worst punter in the nation.Almost the entire corp closees their eyes during punts.
I already told you about Ross and his apologies.Maybe that can fire them up.But I doubt it.
TCU is coming off that TT blowout.On defense the Frogs are pretty bad.They shut out Smoo but gave up 45 pts to Northwestern,70 to TT,and 44 to So Fl. But TCU offense can put pts on the bd.They have 48,44,35 and 44.I don't think Armys defense can handle that.Lyr TCU shut Army out 27-0.Army was a +30 dog and covered.TCU's defense might be bad but they play pressure defense.They are much quicker and athletic and I can see them attacking the Army qb's.On offense TCU has Hassell at qb who is 7-3 as a starter.Hobbs has rushed for over 425 yds and 6 td's.Army is ranked dead last in defense 117th giving up 574 yds per game.
I think TCU can win this by 3 td's or more.
Purdue -2.5 over Notre dame ***
So much has been written on this game.Purdue breaks the spell.Wins the battle of indiana by 10 pts.Cannot see Irish defense containing Orton.Purdue defense will stop ND offense.One of my strong plays for the day.There is so much info out there I don't want to bore you.
Cuse -6 over Rutgers **
Rutgers won't have Leonard today.Thats the key.This 6'2 235 pound is the whole offense.He's caught 28% of the passes,and 56% of the rushes.Take away Qb's Hart sacks and leonard is 63% of all the rushes.He's their no 1 receiver and rusher.W/o him the Rutgers offense is in trouble.They cannot score in the red zone with him so playing in the dome could be problems today.RU's dbs are weak.
Cuse is nothing to write home about.RU since 1999 is 3-32 in conf play.But 2 of those wins were vs the Cuse.Pasqu is in big trouble esp lyr when RU beat them.But this is BE opener,parents weekend,etc. Cuse has lost to 2 ranked teams.Reyes needs to get out of his funk. They talked Heisman for him. Think he has a breakout game today in the Dome.Think their defense steps up and one of those 2 qb's plays well.
If leonard was playing I would grab the 6 pts in a minut.But missing him will cause some inconsitent play on the RU offense.Cuse blocks punts and their off didn't commit 1 turnover vs a good Vir team.
