I'm saying it here.. right here right now. Auburn wins the national championship. I will be taking all comers. Give me anyone else versus Auburn from here until the season's over that will win the national championship. Bring it on! I will accept cash wagers, hats, shirts, or whatever else suits your fancy. Auburn vs. the team of your choice to win the national championship. Who's got balls enough to put a wager tonight?

I def. will take you up on that wager. Auburn beat LSU and Tenn. and neither of those 2 teams have impressed me to be top 10 caliber ranked teams.

My team of choice will be USC who will be facing a legitimate top 10 team in CAL this weekend!!!!

LSU is not a top 10 team and I also will argue not even a top 25 team. Tenn. is not a top 10 team and they are playing 2 frosh QB's. I would not get so excited beating 2 frosh QB's. Tenn. big win was against FL and I am not sure how good FL is.

Then again, maybe you were impressed with Auburns big victories over Citadel, Mississippi St., and Louisiana Monroe!

That's not good enough. Are you saying that OK will win the national championship? If they do.. (Ha ha) do I send you a cap or a bucket full of money. Put your money where your mouth is. What do you want to bet? If Auburn wins you owe me this?? If OK wins I owe you this...? What do you want to bet?

If you want to do the wager with me, name the wager and I will tell you if I agree. Or we could do a cash wager and the "loser" has to purchase something online and ship it to the winner. Let me know!

Aside from the fact that Auburn still has a shitty Qb and will have to beat Georgia twice to even get into this diswcussion, it still aint gonna happen. SC's weak conference will allow them to go unbeaten, and a down Big 12 makes it a virtual certainty that the Texas-OU winner is unbeaten. So an undefeated Auburn team is gonna be looking at Number 3 in the polls- and that's assuming Miami loses to somebody in the ACC which is pretty unlikely as well.

Of course how could I forget that Auburn has "Mack Brown" Tuberville at the helm - we all know how clutch he is. But somehow I am betting that hill will tell us he was the one guy on the Alabama plains that wasnt trying to run TT out of town

Oh Yea, Scott, your the idiot that said that your tandem of running backs was best in the country. Bring your overrated USC bunch of fools versus a top notch SEC talent (pick from at least 3) and show what you've got. This year is not the same as last. Again, what do you want to bet, you big pussy.

I would take Reggie Bush and Lendale White over any duo in the country. Nobody in the country is more talented than Bush and I am not sure I have seen anybody run harder than Lendale White. Oh yeah, both Bush and White are only sophomores and get better every game! Plus Buish and White DO NOT fumble and I have seen the Auburn running backs fumble!

Sun Tzu, until Texas does anything.. hold your breathe until next week. You have possibly the worst game coach in the history of college football. How do you have year in year the best talent and still fawk it up year after year. The answer lies at the top. And I think you know this. Do you think Texas has a legit shot at winning the national championship? If you do, what do you want to bet?

Auburn's backs both would have been top dradt picks last year. However, they chose to leave personal selfish reasons behind and both chose to come back for their senior seasons. The true acid test will be which backs succeed the most in the NFL. It is impossible to determine at this point. However, you bombasic a-hole, I will make you this bet. More Auburn backs will be the finalists for the Heisman this year than Southern Cal backs. How much do you want to bet?

You know Hill if you actually gave a shit about your team you would be in Knoxville instead of on your computer. I am Brown's bigest basher and I sure arent stating they will win the national championship as I dont think they win next week. But facts are facts and the winner of next week's game will go unbeaten as will USC as will Miami which leaves an Auburn team, even if unbeaten, on the outside looking in. And, I dont recall Texas ever being a pre-season national championship pick. What did your boys do with those platitudes last year?

And Scott, yeah the Pac 10 is just great. Cal is a good club and that's it. Stanford played USC tough and beat bad teams. I think you are the one who isnt watching football. But fact is it is all around the country - there is a lot of bad football and pretty much every conference is down, some just more than others.

HILLDOG!!! WTF are you running your mouth about. This is the worst post of the year!!!! Auburn has played nobody...LSU sux, ms st sux, citadel sux, monroe sux, TN was over-rated. Give me a ****ing break. No way we even go to a BCS game. Tough games with arky and UGA still loom, + maybe SEC championchip game... You are pathetic excuse for an auburn fan.

I think Texas will beat OU. I actually have not been overly impressed with OU and I think this is the year Texas wins. Ou has "NOT" played a road game all year and has played against "weak" defenses. Texas should win.

Pac 10 I would say is either #2 or #3 best conf. this year but tough to tell since only a month of football been played. I do not think any team in the ACC or SEC WOULD beat USC or CAL. I think OU "could" very well beat USC or CAL and maybe Texas. Forget about the Big 10 and Big East.

You want to bet AU has more Heisman RB candidates than USC? So let me get this straight. USC is now suppose to have Leinart, Bush, AND White as candidates for the Heisman? GET REAL!

I do not think I will be placing ANY wagers with you because you show a lack of maturity and I do not think you will pay up.

I think the winner between USC/CAL and the winner between OU/Texas will be in the NC this year. UGA, Miami, Ohio St. (tonight prob.) and others will lose because these teams are not elite teams. I have not been impressed with them to think they can run the table.

No mean to offend War Eagle. But didn't you pick Auburn to lose to LSU. Whose the dumb ass Auburn fan now. Why not look to the future? When was the last time Auburns was a top five team? Like what I'm actually saying on a chat board on Mad Jack Sports is actually going to determine who wins the national championship. If I want to take bets, let me take bets. If you want to pick against Auburn (you may win money, but not a real fan) go for it.

No, Scott. Tradiitionally, there are five finalists for the Heisman. If your guys are as good as you say they are, then they both ought to be finalists. I'm talking about the guys who end up at the Athletic Club. If you dare... I say that Auburn will have more finalists at the New York Athletic club (five Heisman finalists) than USC. Do you dare?
