Green Bay -6.5 over Jints ***
Here we go again.I'm 1-2 on Giant plays so I need to win this to get even.So does the Pack.
Jints are playing pretty good but they have 2 wins vs Wash and Clev both played at home.Clev was one of the worst teams I've ever seen.I know their whole team is injured but they were bad.Giants didn't stoop to their level and beat them soundly.The week before Wash had 7 turnovers and looked just as bad.I think they play each other today.
Giants go on the road to Lambeau where they haven't won since Box was a soph at North Texas St.Nixon was the president.
Giant secondary is in big time troubles.Williams is out,Walker out.Clev didn't have time to prepare for 2 rookies in the D-backfield.Wilson has done a great job but he's a 5th rd draft choice,starting at saftey.Alexander is also new.
Think Favre and co all week have looked at the tape of the Clev game.But the Giants I'm sure are watching how Peyton threw for 5 td's vs the GB secondary.
GB has a two prong attack.Green is a great running back and the Jints will have trouble stopping him.That justs set up Favre.He's hurt'in but he always is.His shoulder,his ankle..c'mon he had 358 yds and 4 td's vs the Colts last week.
Jints have Warner who is playing great.All those Jint fans that hated that trade..shut up..[of course I was in favor of that trade]Warner has thrown for just as many yds as Favre so far.Tiki and Toomer woke up.Shockley is still out to lunch.
Jints have 2 nice wins at home.But I see GB exposing what we all know about them.OL has played great and that was their biggest problem.
But I think at Lambeau today Walker who had 11 catches for 200 yds,Green who is 2nd in the NFL in rushing yds with 314 yds and Brett who is 1-2.. wins this by 10-14 pts.
Jints will have problems containing run and pass.
Jets -6 over Miami **
I'm bitting on this one.Jets who at the end seem to let everyone back in the game have a great record vs Miami.In last 12 they are 9-2 ats.but they haven't been a road fav vs the Fish in 20 yrs.
Jets offense with Martin the way he is playing in unreal.Miami rush d is bad but pass d is great.
With all the qb problems,running back problems,etc the Dolphins are in disaray.Pennington is solid.Maybe Santani catches a few for the home crowd.
Pitt -4.5 over Cinncy **** Palmer doesn't look good esp on the road in Pitt.Pitt front 7 will put pressure on him.Plus Bengals have let Martin and Lewis rush for over 185 each.Here comes el Duce..
Need to rebound.Lost 8 * boxes yest in college.
