I wanted to make a $200 wager on the braves/astros for the series. I was wondering if you had any insight, lean, or stats to guide me to the right side. I already did 2 heavy bets on Cards and Yanks for series. Also did a small wager on the Angels because they are hot and I cant stand the red sox. Thanks

I would lean to the astros even though they have a history of playing bad in first round, but on those times they have played bad , they were already playing bad going into playoff, they had big leads and foled last 2-3 weeks of season to let other teams get close to them, this year they are the hot team and have been playing great so that could make a difference for them this year.

yeah fletch my lean was to houston just for their pitching. I think their lineups are pretty much similar, but feel the edge goes to astros in starting pitching especially in the first 2 games. Astros can jump out to a quick 2-0 lead away and will have 3 games to win 1 game, 2 in which will be home. Nevertheless thanks for your post, keep those winners coming and good luck!!

i like mr. sports points. Their rotation is set for clemens and oswalt in games 1 and 2. I dont' trust the braves starting rotation in a BIG SPOT at all. Gl mr.

Well just like i figured, Braves pitching would collapse. Not saying Clemens dominated, but for just about every walk clemens gave up, wright gave up the long ball. Oswalt will shut down the Braves and take a 2-0 lead. But Astro fans dont get all crazy yet, the Cards will return the favor next week.
