I recommend grabbing those 17 points while you can, even if you have to buy a half point. Probably won't need it, but I like lots of insurance myself. Virginia has gone 4-0 against Temple, North Carolina, Akron, and Syracuse. Clemson is 1-3 against Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, Texas A&M and FSU. I've always been a firm believer in that the team playing a more difficult schedule could be more ready. Virginia might already be thinking about that showdown with FSU next weekend. I think this game will be closer than anyone imagines.

5* Southern Miss -17
The Eagles have gone 3-0 on the road, including a win at Nebraska. Do you think they will be excited about their home opener tonight? Houston has lots of holes and some major injuries. I don't like taking big spreads with USM, but I think they cover this one.

Im still unsure about taking clemson they have been horrible. I dont think virginia will be looking that far ahead 2 weeks to prepare for this game plus its a thursday night espn game its hard to see them not ready for clemson. Really like the so.miss play though as houston has been pathetic on the road.

i doubt ill touch the virginia/clemson game as its a difficult game to bet, but i definitely wouldnt count on any 'lookahead' angles. its damn near impossible to overlook an espn thursday night game thats nationally televised and youre the only team in the country playing at that time. gl reb
