Clemson @ UVA

Clemson @ UVA

Dont let this line fool you....this will be the Cavaliers first spotlight game of the year and I dont think they will disappoint....this team is so good that it is scary...they are probably the only tem in the ACC that can challenge FSU and Miami for the title....they have some revenge in mind for last years game when they were young and inexperienced on the defensive side...they a LOT better this year...these teams are going in opposite directions and we will see more of that tonight...UVA has been able to score pretty much at will this year so far...this will probably be one of the better offenses to date for the Defense to contain...just another challenge...can they keep up with UVA?.....dont think so

Playing:

UVA -16.5 (+101) 2 Units
Over 54.5 (-110)
UVA FH -9.5 (-110)

This week has been tough for me to find games that I feel great about...dont know if that is good or bad....but a lot of faves this week :sadwave:

Adding:

Pitt -13 (-106) 2 Units....anti-Temple play

VT -5 (-107) 2 Units...Randall is more versatile than Randolph...Hokies travel well and there will be many fans in Winston-Salem...could be 50/50 split

Maryland -12 (-104) 2 Units....GT is reeling and going to play the Terps is not the cure....tough place to play and MD could spank them

Purdue -11 (-103) Unit...Boilermakers are on fire....will ride them once again

Fresno State -18 (-102)...rebound play

Stanford +4.5 (-106)...how will the Irish respond from last week?

will be back will the NCSU writeup and picks

No. 25 NC STATE (3-1, 2-0) at NORTH CAROLINA (2-3, 1-2)

No. 25 NC STATE (3-1, 2-0) at NORTH CAROLINA (2-3, 1-2)

THE Game for many people around these parts will be played at sunset on Saturday evening. The bragging rights have been a bit one-sided the past couple of years :moon: ....hoping the streak continues

To say there are problems @ UNC is an understatement....they have a good nucleus in QB Durant and Pollock, but the rest of the team is not always there...The Tar Heels are allowing an ACC worst 456 yards and 35.8 points a game. Their rushing defense is also last in the ACC surrendering a hefty 235 yards every time out...the Heels will get a big dose of running with the resurgance of T.A.'s health and confidence..The Tar Heels haven't seen McLendon since his freshman season, 2002. He didn't play against them last season because of an injury. He rumbled for 164 yards against the Tar Heels as a freshman and averaged 7.5 yards...So far this season, McLendon has broken a total of 35 tackles in three games and leads the ACC in rushing with an average of 108 yards per contest.

Good news for the Heels is that TB McGill will be returning for this game. Bad News is that they are going against the Pack Defense that has played extremely well this year...ranked No. 2 nationally in total defense (a fraction of a yard behind No. 1 Wisconsin)... they will have a pretty tough challenge this weekend against a Heels offense that can be explosive if they get confidence

Special Teams are about even in this matchup...

The Wolfpack has won two straight games over Carolina and three of the last four in the series. The last two meetings at Kenan Stadium were also won by the Pack (2000 and 2002). This will be the 94th meeting between the two rivals--the fourth-most played series in ACC history. The team that has won the rushing advantage has won each of the last 12 games.

INJURIES--NC State: DE James Martin-Out, knee surgery; OT Merci Falaise-Out, knee; OG Luke Lathan-Questionable, knee sprain; LB LeRue Rumph-Doubtful, bicep tear; SS Andre Maddox-Questionable, hamstring; WR Sterling Hicks-Probable, ankle sprain; DT Dwayne Herndon-Probable, knee sprain.North Carolina: TB Ronnie McGill-Questionable, ankle sprain; OL Skip Seagraves-Out, broken foot; DT Chase Page-Out, torn finger tendon

The O/U has moved down 3 points since the week started :cursin: ..still like the Under until the Pack can put 4 solid offensive quarters together.....QB Davis decided to wake up and start leading this team in the 2nd half of the Wake game....I look to him to solidify his starting role with a great showing...our WR's need to make those close grabs, but I think the Pack can win convincingly with the confidence of last week...this game is HUGE....many true Pack fans will make the journey over to Kenan Stadium, including myself...I look to see our D shut down Carolina and the Pack to cover 31-17

Playing:
NCSU -10 (-115) 2 Units
Under 52 (-110)

glta and GO PACK!!!!
