Like most people in this forum, I do not share personal data about myself but as I sit in my office now alone I have to have a outlet for what I just learned....

I was a officer in a branch of the armed service during operation Desert Storm (During college I was ROTC)-years later I was injured in Africa and was medically discharged...anyway....my best friend/buddy/guardian angel during Desert Storm was a gentleman named John...well I found out today that John was killed in Iraq last week...I am devastated... he rose to rank of Major in his career and was actually in the active service till 2002 then went reserve and then was activated about 11 months later....We served in Somalia in different units but stories of his heroism make me think about the movie Black Hawk down....he like me had a history in his family of serving...my Father was in the JAG corp (attorney) his father was a Doctor in Nam..My experiences in the Middle East and Africa I never revisit..I have put them out of my mind, but the loss of my friend I will never forget.........Thanks for listening to me babble

PS--we have to end this madness over there--sooner rather than later...tooo many good special people have their lives wasted by this mess..........

thoughts are with you worm, it was said on here last week that we mess around and jab at each other and even go off at each other at times, but when a madjack family member is in need of a ear or outlet we are all here for each other intimes like this.

Hang in there and it is good to share things at times way better then keeping them inside even if we have made mistakes on here on jumping on people and things, it is never personal more reaction but i would never turn down a member who really needed some help with something that i could do, and sure most of the people on here are the same way, just because we have not all meant we still share a bond of botherhood for all when help is needed in real life things. never once have seen a member not get help they needed and support on real life issues. it makes it nice to know there is always a friend on 24/7 at madjacks and people should always know that.

Thoughts are with you and your friend

Eric

And thank you and all past and present who have worked to keep our country and world a better place or at least try to.

I feel your pain. I lost my best friend in Nam and still think of him today. Take care, in knowing, he is at peace.

you might be a fkd up little punk, but i don't believe your bs anyway. but to post something like this and then claim you are in a community college or something somewhere is sik. how can you lie about death and being in the military.

you'll get yours. i knew you were a loser, but at least now you admit it. thats the first step. the next is to get your ass kicked which i suppose has happened a few times to you in life.

that's whats great about america. losers like you can sit back and post bs on message boards while real heros die.

fk off and die whoever your are worm
