To how you read line movement and $line movement or nonmovement ??

This week Philly opens -7.5 Sunday and monday their at 8.5. The moneyline opened at Philly - 360,Car. + 280. After the 1 pt. move , the moneyline stayed at -360 & + 280.

This happens even more in college.

Also , how do you make your own power ratings and adjust them as the year goes on.And i'm talking about confident pwer ratings that will show the books have made a bad line.
Thanks in advance, I still want to keep learning how to fight fire with fire :firing:

i always watch OLY's ML movements in College and NFL.......when i see a big move, especially contradicted by a line move, if it's in my favor, i will take it, we saw it as recent as yesterday in the Rams/Seahags game which turned out to be a winner.......

What's up UT! thanks for the reply, but i'm looking for more info. Most times when they move the number in favor of the favored team, they make you pay more on the $ line.
However, there are lots of times when they don't move the $ line even after they moved the point spread.

hooks, your asking a question that can't be answered, who are those guys who make the lines?I think the best way to look at a game is know your shit, believe what you see not what you read or hear.there is allot of perception not reality built into most lines.lines move for many reasons,if you or I could figure why, we have it all.
