A pair of undefeated teams square off tonight in Miami with the Hurricanes hosting the Cardinals. Not only are these teams a combined 8-0 SU they?ve killed the Sportsbooks by covering in seven of those eight contests.

Bobby Petrino has done a tremendous job at Louisville. In this his second season Petrino has now won 13 of his 17 games. With these four ATS wins this season he?s crept over the .500 mark against the spread with a 9-8 mark.

It?s not a big surprise that Louisville comes into this game undefeated. Louisville has played four pretty bad teams, Kentucky, Army, North Carolina and East Carolina. Their defense has been outstanding as they?ve allowed only seven points per game, and that number would be less if they hadn?t showed mercy against Army.

Can Louisville play with this Miami Florida squad? They have a balanced offense that has had very good success running the football this season. They've rushed for over 200 yards in all four of their games and this running has opened up their passing game. The Cardinals are completing a remarkable 74% of their attempts.

Miami Florida is kind of lying in the bushes this season. Since their opening season win over Florida State 16-10, they haven?t been getting much publicity. One important note regarding that Florida State game is that if you look at the stat sheet you?ll see that the Hurricane defense allowed only 165 total yards. Florida State normally puts up that many yards in the first quarter.

Miami has been on the road the past two games, a 38-13 win and no cover at Houston, and were last seen beating up Georgia Tech in Atlanta 27-3, that time getting the money as 14-point road favorites.

The books don?t look for a blowout tonight, as Miami is a 9.5-point favorite with a 43-point total. The low total is begging you to play this game over, but don?t forget that Miami is a perfect 3-0 under this season (their game vs LA Tech didn?t have a posted total). Regarding the side, can Miami Florida be trusted as a home favorite? Not of late as the Hurricanes have busted their backers posting a 3-10 ATS record as home chalk over the past three seasons.

I think that their record as a home chalk is miss-leading; they have layed some big wood: -40-31-29-28-26-19-13-12-11-1.....
