ESPN College GameDay in Raleigh for NC State and Miami
GameDay broadcasts live from Carter-Finley at 10:30am on Oct. 23.

ESPN College GameDay will be in Raleigh, N.C. this Friday and Saturday, Oct. 22 and 23, for the live broadcast of GameDay. A taping for Sportscenter, in which all fans are encouraged to attend, will be held from 5 to 5:30 pm on Friday, Oct. 22 at Carter-Finley Stadium. The GameDay crew, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit and Chris Fowler, will host ESPN College GameDay from the stadium beginning live at 10:30 am on Saturday, Oct. 23, prior to the NC State and Miami football game.

NC STATE (4-2, 3-1) vs. No. 4/3 MIAMI (5-0, 2-0)

A game that will be decided by the defenses...Both teams boast nationally ranked defenses...the Hurricanes are second behind NC State in pass defense (151 ypg.) in the league..miami has a weak Run defense, but there secondary led by Rolle is scary....

both OL's will be instrumental in keeping drives alive....both have injuries on them and reserves must fill in spots that they are not used too

Miami's special teams is superb led by Hester....Pack should hopefully have seen this and KICK AWAY from him all night long

Berlin has been jeckyl and hyde this year ...he will be a major key if the Pack can pressure him and get some sacks and pump up the crowd and the team

Davis is starting to settle in as QB...he had a pretty good game against the Terps...he will need to play as well or better to compete with the Canes...The recievers have to catch the tough balls this weekend

Miami is clearly the better team, but the Pack plays well as Dogs and especially at home...

Is Mcclendon playing this weekend? One site has him probable and another questionable, seems like this guy has been hurt for two years. I would love to back the Pack in this situation as the fans should be insane this weekend!

the wolfpack has been waiting for a chance like this to roll around again. we had the chance to make a statement last year vs osu. then last year vs fsu. could close the deal in either ot. then this year, vs osu(which now looking at things wouldnt have been quite as impressive), breaking in a new qb and was still a little shaky on the the offensive side. however, and i know youll think its the homer in me, but i think nc state just may walk away with this one. i play all state games based on "gut feeling". i eat breath and sleep the pack. with my gut this year, i have not lost. not to say i wont this week, but im taking the ML for the big win. scene is set and if the pack is ever going to make their arrival, this is the time. just my two cents. hey joy, you going to the game? if so, maybe we could meet over at the fairgrounds and let me buy ya a bbq sandwich!

we always park at lot H8 for the games...dont know if that area will be used for the fair though...will not be making it to the fair on saturday....gonna try to get to the ESA to see the red/white game...should try to get out to the area by 4 depending on the traffic...you can shoot me an email if you would like to try to meet up...name here at yahoo.....

hopr your gut instinct is right again this week....this is definitely a great spot for the Pack to earn a solid reputation....gonna have to prove it on the field...yes, i will be at the game....15 yard line...10 rows up on the State side closest to the Fieldhouse....cant wait!

last game he seemed to get hurt and sat out to be safe...gopack has him as probable, and i trust that site...i am sure he will want to play and improve his NFL status :142lmao:
