bring in a starter.it's not like there isn't a trend here w/pitch count and batting averages. hitting a batter w/jeter on deck was maybe a sign he was tired.
i think this stat is amazing. pedro 0-99 pitches in his postseason career batters are hitting about .100 or so but as soon as he hits 100 pitches batters are hitting .391 and what do you know on his 100 pitch today against jeter he gets a bases clearing triple. unbelievable.

really thought pedro would toss a gem tonight. i have 3 unit play on yanks to win al series but played boston tonight. they may still win game tonight but yanks sure own pedro
