Say what you want about how bad Syracuse is, but they can run the football which will open up a couple big passes. West Virginia has been less than impressive this year with their best win being against MAryland by 3, a team that is having a down year. Syracuse's 51-0 loss to Purdue week 1 seems like a long time ago. I think the Orange could possibly win, so I will take the points.

I agree. SU has improved every game, especially offensively. Biggest problem they have is stupid drive killing penalties. Play makers have been stepping up. WR Jones, RB Rhodes, and QB Patterson have all helped take load off Reyes.

defensively, they can not stop WVU but hopefully they can hold them to a few field goals instead of TD's. I am hoping to get 17.5 and think it is possible by game time.

Biggest thing SU has going for them is that they have alot of heart. They play to the final whistle and have giving it all they got. They are not as talented as WVU but they will not roll over. I can see a competitive game for 3Q's and then WVU pulling away to win by 10-14.

I feel the same way about WVU - too many bad penalties that are drive killers. I was on WVU-7 vs UConn, but planned on putting all those dumb penalties they took in the back of mind for the future, b/c that stuff will cost them a game with BC or VA Tech. Rich Rodriguez looked worse than this guy :cursin: at times in that UConn game.

Leaning towards the Orangemen. The only thing that scares me a little is Mountaineer Feild at night and the fact that Syracuse is a different team outside the Dome.
