5. The National Sucked this year.........ie. did you see Atlanta and Los Angeles 2 other playoff teams...they stunk

6. Possibly starting out first 2 games in Boston facing Schilling and Pedro on the road would have to make me make the BoSox at the very least a slight favorite.

7. The Cards may not have their best pitcher Cris Carpenter for the series........do you think Willy Williams and Matt Morris really scare anyone???

St Louis is the best team in baseball .. IMO .. also Houston is the hottest team in baseball since August 1st .. by far.

Woody Williams has been pitching REALLY well. Boston may win the series but I just dont think they will be favorite ... who knows .. maybe so?

I looked at the odds before the Playoffs started and Boston was a slight favorite over st.Louis followed by the Yanks.......

I personally think whoever Boston faces will be a nailbiter...........emotionally this has to be hard for Boston after finally beating the Yankees..........

I remember looking closely at St. Louis at about 12-1 in June and considering Houston at 60-1 in August when they were 6 games out of the wildcard but just went in and swept the Cubs impressively........I wish I would have played both of those hunches although looking at Houston.....they needed like 10 things to go right just for them to get in the playoffs.........and all 10 things happened.............Good Luck
