The strike zone is going to be real important in this series. Wakefield hasn't handled the narrow zone at all this year but if given room can be very good. Schilling got the wide zone his last outing but don't count on it the next time and he hasn't done well with the small zone at all. Pedro showed me something I haven't seen all year in the last game with NY. I won't go against him in his first game of this series. If the umps mix up the zone from game to game or park to park I give the edge to Stl. More pitchers that can handle either zone. The wider the zone the better for Bos. If Bos has to start using starters for relief like they did against NY they will be in big trouble. Like Stl middle relief better. Here's a stat that might tell the story. In the games Bos has lost in the play-offs their ave runs given up is a ridiculous 10.6. In Stl's loses their ave given up was only 4.5. In their wins both teams gave up 3.7. Have already played Stl for the series but will go small tonight.

Stl + 110

Good luck everyone

......that 19-8 game Boston lost was a fluke because they probably are'nt going to have to many games like that in a yr let alone a postseason, the throw out that game and boston has given up 8 runs in first game to ny.......which Schilling was'nt right and gave up 5 in 2 innings.....and lost 3-1 in Pedro's start.......

GSP........what are you referring to when you state " Pedro showed me something I havent seen all year"
