This is my first post.

You have all helped me keep my bankroll over the past few years. I have become a better handicapper by reading many of these posts. Thank you for all the insight.

Now on to my thought.

You hear all the time about how teams do the week after their bye. I have not seen much about how they do before the bye.

I went back and looked at the records of the 24 teams which have had their bye week so far this year and their ATS record is 18-6 (one game Chi/Phil week 5 was prior to both thier byes).

I don't like playing trends if they don't have some reasoning behind them. There seems to be some reasoning to this. Teams can concentrate on one game, teams don't like to sit on a loss for 2 weeks, maybe other reasons I am not making.

Has anyone looked into this, do you have any numbers for previous years.

This week there are four teams with byes next week.
GB/Wash Play GB
Atl/Den Atl
Jags/Hou Jags
Tenn/Cin Tenn

I hope this has some value and I look forward to much more success from all the help this forum gives me.

I show teams coming off a bye at 7-9 ATS this year to date.

I am trying to find the numbers from a couple of years past. Any ideas on a good website for this?

Any help would be great. Thank you.
