Scott.........bet 2000 to win 10600 on September 3rd.............Hedged 1000 after they were up 2-0.......to be honest if I wasnt having such a bad yr in foots I would have rode it out but I will take 9600 anytime............if youre like me this last week and a half have been a rollercoaster ride hard to believe........after game 3 I thought the Sox would do good to just win a game........after that game they won 8 in a row.......who would have believed it..........Way to go Red Sox

Looking back......hindsight is always 20/20 but I really thought with Schilling and Martinez were the best 1-2 starters any other team in the playoffs could match.............One wonders what would have happened had Schilling been healthy for the start of the playoffs ............Kudos to you for putting this in a long time ago..........Great selection

congrats u guys ... I tried to post alst night and came back today and it wsnt up .. anyhow, played sox in game 4 and they were just too good ... they have two HOFs hurlers and cards dont even have an all star ... cards shot wad in game one and then swung inside and igloo

I put my 1k bet on Sox the day they signed Shilling. Like you I was looking ahead to the 1/2 punch in the playoffs. In addition to the 1/2 punch, Lowe "was" a cy young award winner AND the bats for Boston are not too shabby!

I had 2k to win 30k on the Angels to win WS and that was the team i was rooting for. I was pissed Angels met Boston in round 1 so I put 2k on Sox to win series against Angels. If Angels made it to WS i was gonna put 12k on other team and take a 15k or 12k profit guaranteed! Maybe even more profit if other team was big underdog!

I am now thinking about throwing something on the SPURS to win NBA finals. I really like that team. I am gonna put at least $100 on it. I wish I was getting +650 like my SOX bet.

I now have one more futures bet to hit and that is my USC TROJANS! $1,500 to win $12,000 to win National Championship!!!! Looking good so far! Cisco that would be like you cheering for the SOX to win WS and them winning it + winning 12k on top of it! Doesn't get better than that!

Scott..........on your USC future.........are you worried at all about Oklahoma..........if OK and USC win out and play for the nat title according to some of the power ratings I follow that game would be fron USC-2 to a pick..........looks like OK has a pretty easy schedule the rest of the way, especially if they get by this week......

TO answer your question, NO I am not worried about OU. The only thing that scares me about OU is they have a balanced offense. They can run/pass very well. That said, I do not think OU has been tested this year, and only playing 1 road game thus far does not impress me.

USC has had only 2 senior starters on offense this year and has been very impressive. USC has been tested AND USC keeps on getting better as the season goes along. Defense is playing LIGHTS out now as well.

Lastly, USC has a coaching advantage with Carroll and Chow.

I think Miami scares me the most because they have great athletes especially physical DB's. More importantly, they would have home crowd since its played AT ORANGEBOWL.

Just my opinion!
