1st Post - Ohio State

not a homer play - I live in Columbus but will never be confused for a Buckeye fan

I'm sure that nobody sees a bunch of points scored but there will be enough to cover. Here are some reasons why:

Smith has 4 TD's and 0 TO's (I know it was Indiana). Tressel's system requires a QB to play for field position and let the defense win. Zwick was 5 and 6

Nugent is one of the best kickers in the country. I don't see a bunch of scoring and the FG's will make the difference.

A few starters (RB's & WO's) have have been bumped way down on the depth chart. It is time for some young players to make their mark instead of having the incumbents stumble through the rest of a miserable season

Fox back in the secondary will allow them to put a little more pressure on whatever QB Penn St. throws out there

I think it's too early to judge Smith after 1 game against Indiana. I agree that I don't see many points, which is why I recommend the under as the strongest play here. I am a Buckeye fan and I'm going to the game tomorrow, but I can't give a good defensive team like Penn St. 6' points. I played:
Under 34' 214/200

Tease
Penn St. +12/Un 40' 200/210

Hope to see Nugent win the game with a last second field goal to make the score Bucks 9 PSU 6.

Golfstud -- thanks for the feedback.
As an OSU fan, you had to see a different team out there last week even if it was Indiana. Pittman is a step up in the running game and Smith can loosen up the D with his scrambling ability. Zwick has not been accurate and has thrown some INT's at some crucial points. I have always respected the Penn St. program but I question when they are going to implode with all of the Joe Pa talk.

Golf -- Thanks and congrats on your under. You had to be sweating after that 1st half and OSU did not cover exactly how I had it figured but I'll take a win on my first post. Penn State is the best 2 win team in the nation.
