Pride Fighting Championships - High Octane

Well, we had a Pride thread but it disappeared in the move. Wrote my take, but not going to do it all over again, so here are the picks I have (most of the lines have moved quite a bit):

One big FYI - Because of the big time difference, the Pride show is actually over very early Sunday morning in the US, but is aired that evening. So if you are betting pro football and checking your account money and history, you will already know who won before the PPV, which take a lot of the fun away.

i was thinking about putting a few quid on overeem...the few times i`ve seen him,i thought he was impressive...had liddell in some trouble before the bomb dropped...

Just saw this, Kanehara KO'ed his big brother Valentijn Overeem in Rings Holland in 2000. lol. Well, he should get revenge, I dont think -151 is bad.

Yeah,Allistar is good. Not sure if people know, but he is not terrible on the ground. won several by submission, albeit not against great oppoition. He will have a huge reach advantage and should be superior on the feet, although Kanehara is not afraid to fight standing. My real concern is just getting taken down and being dominated positionally to setup strikes to submission or decision. Not too worried about it though. I like the number.

Leaning toward Hendo, just saw his line is starting to rise. Nakamura scares me a little, but Dan should be able to drill him a few times. I would not be surprised to see Dan end up on the bottom at some point though, and a decision scares me. Dan will be a good deal quicker than him though. The number is the only thing that is making it hard, because to me it is dead on. Ill take Henderson.
