Untraditional Tuna and Swiss Sandwich
2 170 g cans of flaked light tuna, drained
160 mL (2/3 cup) Swiss or Jarlsberg cheese, grated
60 mL ( 1/4 cup) chopped onion
80 mL (1/3 cup) mayonnaise
Salt and pepper to taste
45 mL (3 tbsp) soft butter or margarine
8 slices bread

In a bowl, mix tuna, cheese, onion and mayonnaise together. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Butter bread and spread 125 mL (1/2 cup) filling inside each sandwich. Grill at medium heat until toasted and light brown. Serve with french fries or nachos.

Serves 4.

Chef's tip: Mozzarella can be substituted in this recipe. A little chopped Lion will add some crunch.
