Anyone else getting ripped off by Olympic?

How the hell can this be a loss when the TD was scored at the 7:26 mark??? I saw it with my own eyes but I figured maybe my eyesight was going so I check CBS Sportsline and they same thing. I email Olympic and they tell me the TD was scored 2 seconds BEFORE 7:30

I used to thing this was a legit sportsbook but obviously that feel they can rip off anyone who may not be paying attention where a couple seconds here or there could make the difference. Beware anyone who bets this book. You could be next. As for me I'm pulling out what I have left in there.

Before you get too crazy why don't you call them and ask them about it...books often make grading mistakes...the guys who grade these games/props work crazy hours and grade 100s or maybe 1000s per day...props to Oly for grading quickly...before you start trashing one of the best books out there pick up the phone...

you will get your be graded correctly.

just tell them to go to nfl.com to verify it. it will take time, but it will get fixed.

olympic isnt the best book for me, but they are honest. send an email to spiro. nfl.com has the touchdown scored with 7:26 remaining in the first quarter.

prop bets give books a little more room to fudge, because the rules aren't posted. maybe they meant when the ball was snapped the play started. who knows, but with persistent emails you will get paid.

i rarely bet props, but when looking at pinnacles props tonight, they had no touchdown scored in first 7:28 of the game. I thought it was a misprint. Isn't it always 7:30??? maybe all these games are scripted?? lol

keep emailing them and send an email to jack. you will get your money or at worst a push which isnt' fair, but beats losing i guess.

they will catch the mistake if one was made, you don't have to worry about it. and if they don't catch it before you tell them they will change it if they are wrong, lot of mistakes are made on prop bets you should always watch the game and write down time of game when prop score was made . you will have no problem, I am going to check the time of the score right now for you.

Hey dudes: when a TD is scored at 7:26 that means that 7:34 has run off the clock for the quarter...the clock starts at 15:00 and ticks down...NFL.com has the TD being scored at 7:26 in their summary but in the play-by-play it is scored at 7:32 so there is obvious confusion on this issue: no one is trying to rip you off...get off your butt and call them...

Is if the difference of when the ball snapped vs what the clock said after the play stopped post TD ????

I could see 5 seconds elapsing from snap to pass to reception to OFFICIALS arms signalling TD.

no the score was made with 7:34 left in the first qt so there was a score in the first 7:30 of the game and the bet lost.

I emailed them and got this back.

Dear Jim,

We verified the time the touch down was on the official NFL website address www.nfl.com/gamecenter/playbyplay/NFL on they are showing. The clock is counting down from the fifteen, hence 7:27 will be before 7:30 mark.


That's sad. They don't even know that the posted time is what the clock is SHOWING. They are telling me that it means 7:26 has elapsed and that there was 7:34 LEFT on the clock.

So they are grading this as a loss. Un-freaking-real

Fletcher, the times are all screwed up but obviously I was watching as the TD occured and the guy caught it at the 7:26 mark. Cbs Sportsline has it at 7:26 and so does Fox Sports

Patsjamm I mean no disrespect but I NEVER play Props. I see them for one reason only.

MORE HANDLE for the books, yes someone wins and someone loses, but what is the typical juice spread on these props?

Plus it is HARD to argue 0:00 !

just got back the play started at the 7:34 left in the qt and ended with a td with 7:26 left so it took 8 secs for play and stop of the clock was at 7:26 which means you won, I had it checked 3 times up the road. clock went dead at 7:26 left in the 1st qt, the play started with 7:34 left I read the print out from the book but will find out for sure in the am from the book dir when i go to collect. but you should of won since clock was stopped at 7:26 left in the first, this is going to be a tough one, I will get you a print out that is used by nv gamming comm for rulings when I go in and see Betty in the am, but nick and i read it over a few times and the way it is wriiten you won by 4 secs, like i said it shows play started at 734 left not ending at that. I will get you a real nv ruling copy, she is the only one who can run it for me nick is not allowed to has to come from sportsbook dir.
