BUT

The advice given by KMA (if memory serves me correct) was priceless and the Free version of AVG he gave me a link for has solved the problem and :firing: the virus outta my PC ! :clap:

SO I just wanted to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH, KMA

It worked for free (my favorite price) when my Norton failed (even after updating it twice).

And yes I will faithfully update, update, update, from now on. I will also purchase the AVG when the free period expires.

AVG, Havent used but had a friend who did and they found Stop sign to update faster, but their Customer service sucks so if you are puter illiterate, stick with what u can use. I use stop sign and I never have a problem. Even tested the firewall with intrusion scan and it performed flawlessly.
