Well well... the start of what should be one crazy year in the NBA. After a very busy offseason, we have a different look to almost every team in the league it seems. Very few teams have only subtle changes, with most having at least 1 new starter and some having as many as FOUR!! :scared
With that being the case, gonna tread lightly for the first few weeks to see how all the changes come down the pipe. Here's all I'm playing tonite til HT.Two 4.5 pt teasers I feel have merit, then we'll see what's up at the half! :SIB
HOU +10 & DAL Pickem * Single Play * -110 VIP
LAKERS +2 & OVER 192 * Single Play * 110 VIP
I also like SAC +2.5 -105 & Under 104 for FH as I think DAL is gonna struggle early on in this game with all the changes they've made. Too many people trying to prove something for both teams...
Only the teasers are counting towards record, just thought I would add my opinion about that game. I think McGRADY will keep the ROCKETS close throughout the game vs PISTONS, and GSP is probably right, it will probably hit 175 or so, but I'm not biting.
I can't see KOBE (or the NBA for that matter!) allowing the LAKERS to lose this game tonite. KOBE seems to be adjusting fairly well to passing more, and since he's the "man" now, I don't think it will bother him as much to distribute when doubled, which is every possesion. Everyone knows DENVER loves the transition game averaging 20 FB breaks during the pre-season and I think the NEW SHOWTIME starts tonite and KOBE, ODOM, CARON, etc will get it going early and often in this one.... looking for at least 200 in this one, we'll see....
