Had Houston 1h and with all the foul trouble with Houston, you gotta figure Detroit can win this one at the FT line....

McGrady with only 3 pts, BIG BEN the only player in Double Figures and I have to figure something gives here. DET is down by 1 despite shooting 21 FT's to HOU's 5, and as mentioned, all that foul trouble should cause VAN GUNDY some problems in this one late. I think the fouls even out some in 2H and HOUSTON is a great FT shooting team. Well.... they were last year. Forgot, they traded away MOBLEY / FRANCIS who were very good. Still, MING and others do ok at the line, and DET should hit much better than 34% in 2H of this one... and add to that 67% from the line.

KINGS come back in this one at some point, can't see them losing by DD on opening nite. DAL looks tough, but no need to blow out a potential playoff opponent on opening nite....
SIDENOTE:
BIBBY, PEJA, and JACKSON are a combined 2 for 15 so far in this game and SAC is STILL hitting for 40%. Can't see that happening again. KINGS get it together and BIBBY takes the kid Harris to school in 2H of this one....

I would think DENVER cannot play any worse than that, and I doubt if LAKERS slow it down. If the FG% comes up, the turnovers come down, there's no reason for me to believe this game doesn't go OVER the total 2H. However, there is a HUGE lead by LAKERS, 19 pts to overcome, and I can't see the NUGGETS doing much here. Still debating... may play a small parlay on DEN and OVER as that's the only way it hits, if DENVER plays much better in 2H.
May just pass and not ruin a great nite!

It's a long season for sure, and I'm having a great nite, but that's no reason to NOT play this game. I liked the OVER 196 before the tipoff, so why not OVER 179 for the game??? :shrug:
Besides, I don't think DENVER can play any worse, hopefully they don't prove me wrong. I have LAKERS m/l for the game, so I'm not worried about that play.
