Carville said he needs to draw to an inside straight.
I think he is right. Goodbye middle class, goodbye personal freedom, hello Jesus everywhere. God help this country.

We are so toast. More terrorists, more death, more job loss, more God in government, more war. I'm getting sick.

Good night.

Look, Okie, your some 800 miles to my west. I just got back from Kerry Headquarters downtown, I know, believe me I know. Ohio will be in Kerry's column, Iowa is looking good and New Hampshire (thank you Blitz) may be on the side of truth and justice.

Michigan will put the good guy over the top. It's over.

Eddie

There are plenty of planes, trains and automobiles that will happily carry you out of this horrible country you so decry. I think Haiti would be a nice spot.

Carville just wanted to take advantage of poker's popularity with a funny remark.

It aint over! Kerry inching back in NM, still doing surprisingly well in my state. Maybe just maybe the good people of Ohio will pull through...

Damn, Kerry must really be unlikeable for this to even be close.

When did I say it was horrible? I just said I wasn't too proud.

eddie,

you are over reacting.if you really think that you should stay in your house for 4 years & keep the lights off.

bj,

very surprised by your comment.

you should be proud of this country no matter who wins.this is a peaceful way of determning the leader of our country.if people care about this country they will rally around the president & show support.you should be ashamed to be an american if the personal attacks on bush continue after tonight.

How could you possibly be surprised by my comment. I've made my feelings about the president known for quite a while. Am I glad we have a peaceful manner to elect a leader? Of course. Am I glad I'm an American so I don't have to worry about being gunned down while waiting to vote? Of course. But am I supposed to shut up now that the election is over? Come on.

I think the person we just re-elected is a complete idiot. I'm sorry, but I can't feel okay knowing that the "leader of the free world" is someone that is less intelligent than the average 9th grader in high school. I'm absolutely frightened about what he will do to further his personal agenda now that he doesn't have to worry about being re-elected.

The fact that this country (well, Ohio and Florida anyway) was willing to re-elect this guy doesn't sit well with me, even though I assumed Bush would win all along. And I'm not going to, all of the sudden, become a follower just because the electoral college has spoken. I wouldn't be American if I had. At least that's my feeling on the situation.

No wonder Kerry lost this election...you guys are pitiful. America hates pussies Eddie. I POINT TO THE SCOREBOARD.

Don't be so condesending, more people voted than ever--there was majority winner time so whats the beef?

For whats its worth go back thru posts when lines changed and it looked like Kerry was shoe in and then the aftermath. I find it facinateing how mindsets on many changed. You will find some on both sides who were cordial and accepting in defeat and some not so cordial. You were pretty cordial considering--giving you a B in anger management. :)

Vinnie, you said 200,000 jobs lost. How could they vote Bush? Answer: 9-11 STARTED all the job losses. IT WASN'T ALL BUSH'S FAULT. The voters said it very clear......
