I don't think that Haskell has ever answered a legitimate political comment or question without insulting the writer. As mentioned before, he attacks family members and others not at all pertinent to the discussion. He is perhaps the biggest name caller on the forum. Because some people are amused by his feeble attempts at satire, it doesn't make the words less volatile. Because he is an attorney, I surmise that we are supposed to tolerate his crap as opposed to Manson. I believe that most of what Edward writes is ultimately tongue in cheek and gives him a severe case of the giggles when he writes it - thinking that he gets under his adversary's skin. But that doesn't make him any better than Manson. I would also venture to say that Manson has brought up far more salient points of interest than has Edward, because Edward seems to be a "reactor" as opposed to those who post articles. He has been asked questions ad infinitum by Manson, myself and others on the forum and has only answered in the form of personal attacks without even attempting to address the question at hand. Edward is simply Manson in a suit all dressed up and ready to go. Nevertheless, I enjoy reading Edward even though he directs constant invectives in my direction. It doesn't bother me in the least and I find sparring with him somewhat enjoyable. I would be disappointed if he left the country for Somalia or other such place with questionable web access. I would likewise be disappointed if he suddenly shifted to the middle or God forbid, the right. He has his opinions and he does speak intelligently. Manson is no different, just a rougher cut. I would hope that all the haters can see that Manson is often posting with intelligence as well. Why not allow him to vent and simply let it go without the personal attacks? i don't really recall him striking out without provocation - in fact, less so than many others.
