charlesmanson should not have been allowed to be a memeber of this forum using the name that he uses.
and if he insisted on using that name he should have been banned, until he realized that the name is not funny or cute but instead insulting to this forum.

If we banned all the distasteful, disgusting, double entendres, ...half the forum would be gone. it is just a name - Haskell calls many of us Nazis, Hitlers, Mussolini's, etc. You don't find that distasteful? I believe he is exercising his right to use humor in his own way. You might not like it, but what does it hurt? My guess is that there are only a dozen or so of us old guys that even know who Manson is - remember he is in his late sixties I believe. I really don't see why so many people get their panties in a bunch over something so trivial. This is a public forum where most of the players use pseudonyms. It doesn't bother me and it seems to me that Manson continues to be singled out for miscues that apply to others. If we are going to start talking about banning people, then Jack should publish a set of ground rules. But isn't that rather juvenile? If you don't like what he says, don't read him. He is more mature than many in here and seemingly better educated than others, too. I would like to see everybody get off his back or apply your logic in an even handed way.

a guy as mature as this poster should be capable of coming up with a different name.no you know as well as others that the purpose of this name is only to get attention. otherwise this bright poster would use a different posting name.

I called him out on it in the Gen Forum a long time ago. Back then
he was saying he was Manson and getting his handouts from
Uncle Ben in the next cell.

Hockey's taken too much out of me so no Prison Picks yet. My key guy last year for MLB handouts got moved up to San Quentin and he's not replying to my letters. Hope he's ok, the dude was about my age so who knows. I spent all day discussing tonight's battles with everyone around here and came up with 3 regular plays tonight so we'll give 'em a go......
