Is the Democratic party and it's biased-media-vehicle in utter dismay? Is this the beginning of the end for the liberals in Washington for decades to come?
Is America streamrolling along toward a major shift toward the right??? Sure looks that way.

The whining, the complaining, the lying, the flip-flopping, the moaning, the fingerpointing, the crying, the anti-American B.S, the anti-military B.S...the dressing up in hunting gear, the flu shots, the draft, the missing weapons scandal, the suppression of the black vote, Haliburton....it's obvious that most Americans are just plain sick of it! :clap: What a horrible candidate and a horrible smear campain I just witnessed.

American's don't like crybabies. That's why Kerry lost. There was no agenda...no plan, no positive attitude, just a steady pounding of lies and deceptive personal attacks on our president. What a disgrace. That political party is in PUTRID SHAPE!

To your 2nd question directed at me: The near term future of the Dems looks to be in trouble - obviously. They have no majorities anywhere except slightly among governors. For some reason, people think extremists have hijacked their platforms (...maybe because of Fox and friends?), but really if you open your ears and look at results, it's not at all true.

In the long run however, either the Dems will grow or hopefully a 3rd Party will emerge. As the current ruling philosophy puts us hopelessly in debt, kills the middle class as we know it, sticks our military in wars that are not valid (all the while never catching REAL terrorists), then another party will eventually gain greater support. I'm rooting against all that because that would mean we are in big big trouble. But history, match, science, logic are all pointing in that direction.

The first - an example of Fox. Without even looking up stuff and with my memory not so good right now, I specifically remember one story shortly after Iraq invasion when they closed in on a facility and announced that it contained WMD's. They spent all afternoon anouncing that "We found WMD's". No other TV station was doing this. As it unfolded to be completel;y erroneous, there were no retractions, no journalistic apologies, nothing. Their aganda is clear.

Another example - with Bill O'Rielly (and most of their supposed 50/50 independed shows). Whenever O'Reilly has a guest representing the "LEFT", they are almost ALWAYS extremist wackos - almost never moderate. They almost never put a reasonable Democrat who represents the intelligent majority. It's an absurd misrepresentation and only serves to make people think the Democrats or Liberals or whatever are nothing but Commie Socialists. This tactic is very effective - as evidenced by comments here. How many Dem posters here are actually socialist? How many are accused of it?

These are just off the top of my head - if I delve into everything as I view it on Fox, or as I hear on most AM radio - it would be worthy of it's own thread.

You want me to comment on other things you say, OK I will start to:

I wasn't trying to convert him or anyone. Election's over - doesnt matter anyway. The Kerry soundbites on Fox and Mansons statements were not a fair indication of his platform.

SMurphy - I agree with some of what you say. But enlighten me as to what John Kerry's platform really was! What did he plan to do in Iraq? What was his plan to improve the economy (other than raise taxes on the rich)? What was his stand on terrorism? How did he plan to deal with it? What did he think about homeland security? What were his views on Israel? Kerry ran a phantom campaign and lost because of it. He was negative and seldom offered any specifics except his dislike for what W was doing. He made an ass of himself on his "duck hunting" exhibition which probably hurt him in Ohio. He refused to release his war records but constantly bashed Bush. The American people saw through his smoke and mirrors. The Dems blew it big time here. Bush was as vulnerable as any incumbent -- the Dems just ran the wrong man against him and used the wrong platform to try and elect him. I hope a stronger 3rd party comes out of this, but I doubt it will happen.

Even O'reilly admits that his show is not news. He just did yesterday in response to an email.

There was a lot of lying going on both sides. Bush constantly lied about Kerry and his lies were reinforced by Fox News and all of the Murdoch Media. The Swift Boats got so much free time on Fox and Murdoch Radio.
Air America Radio is gaining ground fast. They have gone from two stations to 16. They may put up a good fight against Murdochs Media by 2008. Fifty percent of the American public didn't buy what Murdoch was selling. So there is a big opening for Liberal Radio. I am not saying it is a good thing but don't be surprised to see these Liberal Networks start to emerge.
