Good Luck gentlemen, I have said before I am not a gigantic Steeler fan, but I don't think I bet against this team until they give me a reason to. 6-1 and beat a team nobody could for over a year and beat them pretty easily. Roethlisberger has given nobody a reason to doubt him so far. The Pttsburgh defense is suspect and I am not sure they have an answer for Owens, but I think an explanation is due here Scotty.

Scott-I hate to disagree with you, but I think you are wrong. Pittsburgh will win this game 24-17. The Eagles will stuggle to run the football, but Pittsbugh will not. The Eagles will blitz, but Roethelsberger will not be rattled. Ward and Staley will get it done. Pittsburgh is riding high, while the Eagles have yet to face a challenge such as this all season. No team in the NFL could win in Pittsburgh right now tomorrow, in December, January that may be a different story. Good luck, but I'm letting loose on Pittsburgh.

Staley downgraded to questionable versus Eagles
November 6, 2004, at 09:44 PM ET

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pittsburgh, PA (Sports Network) - Pittsburgh Steelers starting running back Duce Staley was downgraded to questionable for Sunday's game against his former team, the Philadelphia Eagles.

Staley, who had appeared on previous injury reports this week as probable with a knee ailment, was listed as questionable on Saturday with a hamstring injury apparently suffered during Friday's practice.

The 29-year-old Staley, who signed with the Steelers last spring after spending his first seven NFL seasons with Philadelphia, has rushed for 707 yards and a touchdown on 151 attempts in Pittsburgh's first seven games this year.

The Steelers (6-1) will host Philadelphia (7-0) as the teams battle for Pennsylvania bragging rights.

Good luck Guys!!!

Scott, I know you lurk around MadJack more than most of us... And damn it! You missed a free pick yesterday.

BTW GUYS - I AM EXTREMELY HEAVY ON USC -18 TODAY. I HAVE UNLOADED ON THEM AND HAVE THEM IN A FEW PARLAYS.

UNLOAD USC -18
;)

Best of luck on your TITFD play today. Just be careful. One of our resident evils has Pittburgh as his free play.

Meet you on Glory Rd. It runs off Victory Lane. And that is where I live.
.......................................................

If this keeps up I will meet you on bankruptcy alley.
It runs right off Penny Lane and pound foolish.

This is the most I have lost in the NFL in a long time. Got to find a way to turn this around.
Stay positive.

penguinfan: how is the pitt defense suspect?

That is one leaky secondary we have here, no Steel Curtain anymore thats for sure. McNadd is a bunch more moblie than any QB they have seen this year, so what do you do, double cover T.O. and hope to contain McNabb? Do you go man to man on Owens, well if you do we honestly have nobody that can cover him. This will be a challenge like no other for this defense. Two weeks ago I said if the Steelers would win either of the games against the two unbeatens it would be New England, I just think Philly's offense will give the Steelers defense fits.

As far as Scotty saying Big Bens luck will run out, well thats just assenine and he knows it, this isn't luck, the kid has skill adn until he shows otherwise then I have no desire to bet against him. This game will come down to one big play, of the Eagles get Owens loose in the backfield Philly will win this game, if the Steeler D comes up with a big play for a turnover that leads to points then Pittsburgh will win this game. In my opinion that makes this game impossible to handicap, you just can't predict who the big play, or big mistake will come from. This game does not have blowout written on it anywhere, so to try and decipher where the game changing play will come form is suicide. The Steeler offense will get it's points, luck or no luck, it will come down to the defensive effort of either team to decide this one.

Bottomline

Bottomline

Eagles can't run or stop the run, Pittsburgh can run the ball and will run the ball. Eagles passing game will keep it close, but Levens is no threat.

As far as Staley being questionable, I feel confident he will play. First of all, this is his former team, so he will play if at all possible. Secondly, that report says he got injured on Friday or whatever, well that's bullshit, no starter practices hard on Friday. I think the Steelers are just trying to throw a little mind **** into the mix. Good luck and go Steelers.
