Eastern Michigan v. Kent State


Both teams looking to finish strong. EMU actually has a shot for a winning season but the season ending game at NIU realistically excludes that aspiration.

Eagles QB Bohnet and WR Deslauries have been making plays all year. Throw in RB Sherrell and this is the best O of the 2nd-tier MAC schools.

Golden Flashes O revolves around QB Cribbs. RB Alston had a fantastic game v. UB... but who wouldn't. Kent will def. get their share of yards and points.

Both D's are bad - though EMU has actually seen some improvement on run D as they looked pathetic earlier in the season. Cold Flashes are particulary vulnerable to the pass.

Eagles are getting points again and if RB Sherrell gets 100+...Eagles will pull another upset.

i like this play. both teams have been playing well lately. cribbs going out strong, and bohnet has been solid the last few weeks as well. two good offenses and two bad defense. deslauries was an absolute man last week (14 catches for 207 yards and he made every big catch throughout regulation and the overtimes). kent as a DD chalk is pretty ridiculous. theyre playing great, but this is far from a consistent team. dont like emu coming off 4 OTs, but at least they won and have some confidence and adrenaline might be enough for the cover.
