Have a quick quesitons for some of the computer experts in the room. I have a company laptop that my company gives me for business. Now there are restricted websites when I use my companies dial up internet access they supply us.

I do pay for my own cable modem to use when I am at home and on the road. my question is can my company track what websites I visit when surfing the net on my cable modem that my company is not paying for/??? The company does not have direct access to my laptop as i only go to out offfices a few times a year. I just want to make sure there us no way for them to internally track my website visits through the Ip?? address.

I do delete my cookies and files under tools then internet options daily. is there anything else i need to do??

Thanks for everyones help in advance and i wil check back if i was not specific enough and there are questions i need to awnser

What operating system???

Bear in mind that if the company provided the machine, then technically they could have installed logging software beforehand.

Deleting cookies and cache is NOT enough. It's better if you respect their property and company rules and get a second laptop if you're that concerned about covering your tracks. The laptop is THEIR property. And EVERY single keystroke can be tracked if the need or want is really there. The question is, does the company really give a shit or not. Just think about all the online pedophiles that get caught online. The chances are that they aren't going to watch that closely OR have the technology to do so, but it is possible. Good luck!!!
