well if youre oklahoma, you certainly dont kick a FG when youre up 30-0. thats almost as bad as running it up.

the nebraska FG was real shady though

GMan, would another TD really have made a difference to the BCS. They could have run out the clock easily and NE would have been ok with it.

I do not think they (OU) had anything to gain by adding another TD.

I had OU and I have no problem with the Nebraska FG. Thats football - you try and avoid the shutout. If I were Nebraska I would have kicked it too.

bill:

thats my whole point. if youre oklahoma, youre really just calling the dogs off and showing a touch of class by not punching another one in on nebraska. sooners could have definitely scored to make it 37-0 if they wanted to. thats why i think it was wrong for nebraska to kick that cheapie. i know callahan's defense is 'we just want to get something on the board' but thats still BS. and ive got great respect for ST, but still think that one was cheap. if oklahoma punched that last one in or tried to run it up -- yeah by all means kick that cheapie. but not when stoops calls the dogs off.

I think OK was trying to get another TD. They could have run out the clock easily. Why else are they passing from the 18 yard line with 90 seconds left on the clock.

Show some class and take a couple of knees and run out the clock.

I can now only hope OK loses one of their games. Of course as a Texan and a cross-over Oklahoma State fan, I do not need much of a reason to root against OU. My wagering on them was strictly business and if I had to lose I am glad they did not shut NE out.

Ain't this a great country and a GREAT venue MJ has given us!!!!! :D :D

We'll I have a problem with that! This is Football,You dont give your opponent a "gimme", ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have a chance to put points up on the board, you do it!!!!!!!!!! If they were trying to show a touch of class they should of run the clock out ,instead of feeling sympathetic and letting Nebraska get the ball back so they could have another shot at putting some points up. Why didn't Nebraska go all out and try to get in the end zone? That would of had more class then puttin up a cheap 3points, in my opinion. It was a lay down.

i think it was foolish to have your starters in up 30-0 in the 4th qrter.......is it worth to risk injuries for that xtra TD & BCS points.....if white gets hurt on that last series , the whole state of oklahoma would of PUKED.......lol
