Saddam worked with France, Germany, and Russia, and that dirty crooked anti-American Koffi Annan and his terrorist-ass-kissing U.N. to steal $21.3 BILLION from the corrupt oil-for-food program!

Why isn't the liberal media showcasing this HUGE STORY???.....hmmmmmmm....just looked at CNN.com and didn't see any headlines about it at all. (I did see one about ToyStory 3 however)

No wonder France, Germany, and Russia helped Iraq avoid "real" weapons inspections for so goddamn long. No wonder Russian Special forces helped Saddam move his weapons into Syria right before the war! No wonder they all opposed the Iraq invasion!!

$21.3 Billion is a lot of hush money isn't it??? Now Koffi Annan is refusing to hand over some 54 reports??? He said "it wouldn't do any good"....wouldn't do any good? What the fawk is this guy hiding!!???

This is the biggest international corruption I have seen in modern times. Absolutely sick! FAWK THE UNITED NATIONS!! What a bunch of crooked-ass terrorist-loving bastards. No wonder we had to "go it alone"!

And these are the people that John Kerry wanted to join forces with if he won the election. Think about that for a while.

Unreal. Absolutely unreal.

Saw it on Fox News last night.....they did a whole segment on it..........they even broke down the $21.3 Billion kickback into categories to show where all the stolen money came from.

All the liberal news outlets are avoiding the story, which doesn't surprise me.

What website are you on Kosar? CNN? MSN? NY TIMES? LA TIMES? Looks like other people are having trouble finding it too. I can't find it on any of the liberal news websites.
That wasn't the point of the thread in the first place. How do you feel about this corruption?

I wasn't talking about websites. I was talking about TV. Fox doesn't have it on their website right now either.

Don't throw out false statements and then say, 'that wasn't the point of the thread anyhow'.

To answer your question, I agree with most of your first post, but I don't agree that they avoided 'real' inspections. The fact is that there hasn't been a weapons program there since 1991. Also, please get off your 'Russian Special Forces took the WMD to Syria' kick. It's not true.

Hey you have a right to believe what you want. Feel free to defend the UN all you want too. Saddam had no weapons programs since 1991? Gee...that's funny, that's not what the recent Iraq Weapons report showed.
It's your business if you want to believe liberal propoganda Kosar. Just keep pulling the wool over your eyes. Just don't come into my threads telling me what I can and can't say.

Kosar you're only in here to cause friction because the post was generated by myself. Show a little integrity next time.

Now...back to the topic please.....(if you guys are mature enough to handle it without trying to nit-pick at me)

I'm not, in any way, defending the UN. But it's funny how certain elements treat the UN as an entity to be ignored and ridiculed, yet cite, yep, UN resolutions, as a reason for the occupation. You can't have it both ways.

Go ahead and get the last word Kosar. I don't feel like arguing with you and I'd rather you feel proud of yourself for trying to start a pissing match in my thread.

Actually, it *is* what is showed. It also said that Saddam wanted to restart the program when we stopped leaning on him. Maybe that's what you're thinking of. Whoop-dee-do.

I'm not starting anything. I said I agreed with most of your first post. Don't post misleading statements if you don't want to be called on them. How about that?

Hey you're the one who is being "misleading" Kosar. Saddam had no weapons programs since 1991??? Man you are in utter denial, I feel sorry for you.

The Hyde investigators said there are signs that Saddam's government used money obtained under the U.N. program to buy arms from Russia and Belarus or on the international black market through middlemen in Jordan and Syria.

Sure Dad, I'll run all of my facts by you before I post them in my threads. lol Gimmee a break.

The estimates of the corruption in the UN oil-for-food probe just got a whole lot bigger. This is the program, instituted and run by the U.N., where Saddam Hussein was supposed to be able to sell barrels of oil and use the proceeds for food and medicine. In reality, he used it to build palaces, line his own pockets, buy votes on the Security Council and pay off the U.N. Everybody benefited. Everybody except the Iraqi people, of course.

Congressional investigators have discovered that Saddam Hussein made more than $21 billion in illegal revenue off the oil-for-food scam. Democratic Senator Joe Lieberman said "That humanitarian program was corrupted and exploited ... for the most horrible and aggressive purpose." Essentially what Hussein was doing was giving oil to foreign officials, journalists and terrorists, who then sold the oil to oil companies for a commission. Some of the other beneficiaries of the fraud were groups like the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

Would somebody please remind me what useful purpose the United Nations serves? Time to move their headquarters to some place more hospitable, like Haiti. Think of all the parking spaces that would be freed up in New York.

(sigh)-yes, he was buying arms. He had no WMD program since 1991.
