tough call, sort of like the field myself but you could get screwed if Aub or Okie lose in the league championship games. I take that back as that would actually help you if Cal got to the title game as I know they would beat USC on a neutral field/

DON"T BET AGAINST USC!

Has nothing to do with USC or anybody else winning the National Championship. Pinny will cheat you if you bet against USC in the Orange Bowl.

You will lose value unless you think ND or UCLA will upset USC. That prop bet is only good if you like USC to win the Orange Bowl. Let me explain.

A Las Vegas Sporstbook already has the Orange Bowl lines out.

USC -3 vs OU
USC -5.5 vs AU
USC -4 vs CAL
USC -10 vs Utah

So why take the field +100?

You could take every team against USC on the ML and get +140 w/OU or +200 w/AU. Plus you do not have to sweat any injuries that might happen from now until then.

If your looking for value, the value is taking USC -120 and if you don't like USC at the time of the game, take the other team on the ML and take guaranteed profit or take the other team +pts and go for the middle.

*I know you said someone other than Scott but nobody provided you this useful info and you prob. thought I was gonna pimp USC. :)

Scott,

...but what if USC gets beat and doesn't make the title game? Scott,

Then take the bet. That is where you get value added to your wager. If you think USC makes it to the Orange Bowl, then you do not have value in your wager and Pinny actually cheats you. I explained how.

USC will be double digit favorites against ND and UCLA. UCLA dose pose a threat because they have serious talent on offense but USC has barely broken open the playbook AND USC gets back a few "key" injured players this week. UCLA does not have a great defense. ND does not have the athletes to hang with USC. USC should make it to the Orange Bowl with a 95% confidence level. :142lmao:

Do whatever you want, you asked why not to take this bet and I explained why.

If this has any meaning to you, I have USC 5k to win 17k to win the Orange Bowl and I could hedge that right now and take guaranteed profit and I am not doing it. So I obviously think USC is making it to the Orange Bowl AND winning it (but I could hedge once they get there). Just something to consider. That is a lot of money for me.

*Looks like people are taking USC, the NO bet is now +110. Maybe they are using MY LOGIC.

taoist,

the only bet that makes sense to me is to take the field.

okla.
auburn
calif.

all could beat usc.

but then again, i wouldn't make any of those bets since it's only even money.

usc's remaing games are against notre dame & ucla. don't see them losing to those teams.so if that's the case then usc will be in the title game & will be favored.

why don't you wait until the title game & take whatever points you can get vs. usc ?
