The Vandals have made vast improvements offensively this season because the running game has been surprisingly effective. However, true freshmen running back Jayson Bird (knee) and Rolly Lumbala (shoulder) were hurt last week and could be out for this week's season-finale at Hawaii. Junior quarterback Michael Harrington has been solid most of the season.

The Vandals allow a league-worst 38 points a game, but there have been a few bright moments. The pass defense has been good at times, but the run defense needs to improve next year.
